Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-A is to be kept in a standard Humanoid Containment Cell at all times. Testing involving SCP-XXXX’s anomalous ability requires written permission from personnel with 4/XXXX Clearance. Personnel entering SCP-XXXX-A’s containment cell must be accompanied by at least 2 armed guards and wear a specially-made visor containing a stationary camera that will project a live feed directly to the interior of the visor. As SCP-XXXX’s anomalous ability does not manifest through recorded footage, this is the only way to safely establish a line of sight with an SCP-XXXX-A instance. Due to SCP-XXXX-A’s slovenly nature and sharp temper, SCP-XXXX-1 is not permitted to establish contact with SCP-XXXX-A under any circumstances.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a sentient cognitohazard currently inhabiting the body of former Foundation security guard ██ ████, designated SCP-XXXX-A. Upon making direct eye contact with an SCP-XXXX-A instance, subjects will experience an “out-of-body” sensation, whereafter all traces of SCP-XXXX will vanish from its host body and manifest in the subject. Furthermore, the subject’s memories, personality, and skills instantly manifest in SCP-XXXX’s former host, hereafter referred to as SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX then assumes control of the subject’s body, hereafter referred to as SCP-XXXX-A. At the same time, SCP-XXXX does not obtain the memories, personality, or skills of the subject, and the subject does not gain the memories, personality, or skills of SCP-XXXX or its former host. While SCP-XXXX does not distinguish between race, sex, age, or other defining physical characteristics when transferring to a new body, it has vocalized a preference for healthy adults between the ages of 18-30.
Despite sanitary facilities being mandatory within all standard Humanoid Containment cells, SCP-XXXX-A has not been seen to shower or bathe, maintain proper dental hygiene, or properly clean himself after defecating. SCP-XXXX-A will often wear the same uniform for weeks at a time, and though a change of clothes is provided daily SCP-XXXX-A rarely utilizes them. Furthermore, personnel entering SCP-XXXX-A’s room routinely complain of an extremely unpleasant odor emanating from him. As this odor was not present when SCP-XXXX first infected ██ ████, or in R███ ███ while she was infected with SCP-XXXX, it is likely that the odor results from SCP-XXXX-A’s general uncleanliness rather than a secondary anomalous effect.
Though SCP-XXXX-A has rarely attempted to engage in physical violence, he has demonstrated extreme hostility towards Foundation personnel and is prone to fits of rage, particularly when denied requests for food or luxury items. To date, SCP-XXXX-A has requested:
-A flat-screen TV (Denied)
-A Playstation 4 console with an online subscription, internet access, and several dozen compatible video games, including “SoulCaliber VI”, “Persona 5”, and “Disgaea 1 Complete” (Denied)
-A private computer with internet access (Denied)
-A regular supply of various sodas, chips, cookies, and other confectionaries, to be served in large quantities with every meal (Denied)
-A DVD player (Denied)
-Several dozen anime series, mostly in the Seinen and Magical Girl genres, including “Mahoromatic”, “Gabriel Dropout”, and “Ouran High School Host Club”, on DVD. (Denied)
-A body pillow of the character Megumin from the anime and light novel series “KonoSuba” (Pending)
SCP-XXXX first came into Foundation custody after a popular rock star, R███ ███, was injured following an attempted assault on her by C███ ███████, an extremely overweight man who claimed she had “stolen his body”. While recuperating in ████ ███ Hospital, R███ ███ made several vitriolic comments towards her handlers and hospital staff, stole from the hospital food cart, and had to be forcibly restrained after attempting osculation with a male nurse. These out-of-character actions sparked great alarm among her family and the higher-ups at ████ Studios, which produced her music, drawing the attention of Foundation Agent ███ ███. A cover story was introduced, announcing that R███ ███ would be retiring from the music business following the attempted assault, and SCP-XXXX-A was taken into custody alongside C███ ███████. SCP-XXXX’s anomalous abilities became fully apparent during transfer when SCP-XXXX-A was able to establish eye contact with a security guard, who became a new SCP-XXXX-A instance as a result. SCP-XXXX-A then attempted to shoot the other security guards involved with the transfer of SCP-XXXX-A, however due to poor handling of the firearm SCP-XXXX-A missed despite the close range, and the gun’s strong recoil caused him to stumble backward, dropping the weapon in the process, whereby he was instantly set upon and restrained by the other security guards. Subsequent testimony from SCP-XXXX-1 helped form the basis for the initial drafting of SCP-XXXX’s containment procedures.
