Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX instances cannot be moved, therefore containment is on site. Personnel are not to approach instances of SCP-XXXX unless wearing Level 3 or higher hazard protection gear, and with authorization from a Level 2 or above research staff member. Containment fences & checkpoints around the area in which SCP-XXXX instances are to be at least 125 meters away from instances of SCP-XXXX, with the stated reason being that there is a disease infecting trees in the area, and it has been put under containment. All personnel exiting SCP-XXXX's containment must be subject to decontamination to halt the spread of SCP-XXXX instances. Failure to follow protocol will be met with severe disciplinary action. Seeds from SCP-XXXX are to be stored on-site, and research of them is also to be done on site. Whenever an SCP-XXXX instance dies, one seed is to be planted.
Description: SCP-XXXX refers to trees that resemble Laburnum anagyroides, which are typically not anomalous until late spring, when SCP-XXXX flowers. The standard flowers of Laburnum anagyroides are replaced by flowers that, while they resemble typical flowers of this tree, are sharp and lethal to most organisms if not cautious, and SCP-XXXX instances turn hostile, suggesting limited sentience, to all organisms that come within range. The actual vines the leaves are on will extend out to over 12 meters if the organism targeted by SCP-XXXX instances attempts to flee. This has been recorded to work via other racemes on the tree retracting inside, suggesting all of them are one. Attempts to uproot SCP-XXXX instances result in exposed roots that [REDACTED] subjects. SCP-XXXX seeds are not hostile, and have not been recorded to show any sentience. However, decontamination of subjects exiting SCP-XXXX's enclosure is mandatory to contain these seeds. Seeds may be requisitioned for research purposes with a Level 2 or above research staff's permission.
