The “Wither Worm” also known as reconditcrypto acanthabathy ( rec-on-diet-cript-oh a-can-thay- bath-ee) is a parasitic organism of unknown origins. This parasite goes inside a body by digging into a blood cell(s) and causes decaying patches near entry wound do to the acidic substance on it’s skin. It continues to the lungs were it spreads its body paper thin and wraps around your lungs. It then proceeds to use small spikes on their skin and use them to penetrate the lungs and implant seeds of their kids. Once they hatch they will begin to eat the lung tissue. Once finished they wait in the windpipe to be coughed out and spread.

Wither Worm is contained in a gelatinous substance inside a clear metallic alloy. Kept at a constant temperature of -2 C (28.4 F) to keep the substance from becoming liquid or solidifying. If it were to liquifi, the scp would begin laying seed and creating an army to infect more people once broken. If solidified, it will begin to break the frozen gel substance and put pressure on the clear alloy, and would end up putting the integrity in danger.

Class D prisoners will be tested on this and studied. If found to last longer than the life expectancy (17-20.hr) than they will be put under and will have a surgery and try to keep the patient alive as long as possible without removing the scp. The record stands at (25.hr). Before death symptoms are chest convulsions, chain coughing, dizziness, and severe rapid tissue decay across the body due to the Wither Worms child feces.
