Description: SCP-XXXX is a Nikon brand camera, model ████. Physically and functionally, SCP-XXXX is consistent with other cameras of the same model. However, in photographs captured by SCP-XXXX, an anomalous individual (designated SCP-XXXX-1) is visible in the background. SCP-XXXX-1 is a Caucasian male with dark hair, and is invariably dressed in a Hawaiian shirt and cargo shorts. SCP-XXXX-1 only appears when the photograph is of a setting that is plausibly inhabitable for a human being; for example, pictures of the sky, closeups of insects, or simply darkness do not include SCP-XXXX-1.

The ad had attached photos of the poster of the ad, with manifestations SCP-XXXX-1 in various different locations. A Foundation operative was sent to investigate, and promptly retrieved SCP-XXXX. Further investigation into SCP-XXXX-1 has been theorised to be ████████ Smith, reported missing in 19██.
Testing revealed that SCP-XXXX-1 has control over where in the photo he manifests. Using a photo of a Foundation controlled industrial building with large labels under windows (designated Site-XXXX), communication was established with SCP-XXXX-1, as by capturing a photo of Site-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-1 is able to manifest in certain windows to convey a message. Labels include the alphabet, 'YES', 'NO', 'SPACE', 'END', with blank windows allowing for inclusion of more responses.
