Item: SCP - XXXX, "The Space Theif"

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP - XXX is to be but inside a 10 foot long by 9 foot high cell. The SCP is not allowed to roam around freely yet. Any scientist or Guard entering the cell must leave all of their personal and/or special belongings onto the table of the control room in the control room of the cell.

Description: SCP - XXXX is a 5'11 Caucasian man, wearing a Ski-Mask, leather jacket, khaki pants, and leather shoes. SCP - XXXX can create portals out of nowhere, but only to steal the items of others. (Ex. Wallets, Photographs, sometimes even clothing.) SCP - XXXX seems to be content with his living space.

July 23rd, 20██, the day we found SCP - XXXX:
Dr. Hernandez was going to his office to finish filling a report on an SCP, when he encountered SCP - XXXX, tearing posters of his wall, and tossing them into a knapsack with the word, "SWAG", on it. The following is a retelling from Dr. Hernandez himself.

Dr. H: "What the hell? What are you doing?!"
SCP - XXXX: "What does it look like, babe? I'm stealing your stuff!"

The SCP began to Mumble about how good the items will sell on the "Interspace Market."

Dr. Hernandez began to call in security, in hopes to detain the man.

After Security showed up to the sight, SCP - XXXX ran out of the room, laid a portal down, and jumped into it. Over the next week, he would come back, steal more items, and leave when security got involved. We captured him after filling a Containment cell with money, posters, and a single jelly filled donut from the cafeteria. He entered the room, and we locked him inside.

Over the month we installed a new system, called the A.P.D, (Anti Portal Detector), so he wouldn't escape. As of know, the entire facility is using the A.P.D.

Incident A:
SCP - XXXX found out the he can create tiny portals, small enough to fit an arm inside. The A.P.D only detected big portals. He started to steal more items from staff, until one day he grabbed the wrong thing. He accidentally grabbed Dr. Tarkovsky's head, he knew he was found out. In a state of panic, he closed the portal, with Dr. Tarkovsky's head still poking out of it.

Dr. Tarkovsky died that day. After the killing, SCP - XXXX seemed notably stressed, and feelers guilty after killing Dr. Tarkovsky.

Extra notes:

We must improve the A.P.D. Until we do, send 2 Security guards to watch SCP - XXXX and make sure he doesn't make any portals.
