Item #:SCP-…
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures:SCP-…. is to be contained in a containment cell 15 m x 10 m x 10 m, made of bullet-proof glass, in Containment Site-██, wearing a track collar at all times. The cell is to be cleaned and ventilated every two (2) days while Scp-…is tranquilized. SCP-… is to be fed once per day and be given water every five (5) hours. It is required that at least four (4) guards (minimum) are present at all times. SCP-… is allowed out of the containment cell for thirty (30) minutes maximum, escorted by one (1) to two (2) guards, to avoid escape attempts, stress or mood swings. While experimenting with SCP-…, SCP-… must remain in the containment cell to avoid any unnecessary damage and/or deaths. Under no circumstance must Level-4 personnel come into contact with SCP-… .
Description:SCP-… is a reptilian creature found in an old abandoned lab in ███████. The head of SCP-… seems to be a canine's skull with cow-like ears facing downwards and gazelle horns that appear to be wooden at the back of the "head". SCP-…'s neck is long enough to reach high places (at least 1 m more than its own height) and look around. Standing 1,70 m tall, SCP-…'s front legs end in three-clawed feet, that could resemble a bird's foot if smaller, while its hind legs are much like a horse's with forked hooves.
It has been noted that since containment SCP-… has been losing weight and has become rather skinny. Whilst being weighed approximately 450kg in the wild, now it weighs almost 200kg.
Unlike the reptilian body, SCP-… has dark brown fur and black spiky mane (which starts from the back of its "head", goes along its spine and ends around the base of the tail), which has been proven to have the same affect as poison ivy. SCP-… has a wooden tail which in length has been estimated to be 1,5 m. It is suspected that SCP-… will attack anything in a 20 m radius when angered or provoked. SCP-… has been nicknamed "The Chaser" ever since it chased a Class-D Subject in the containment cell.
Even though it resembles kinds of animals, it does not use the body language as a communication method as expected. It has been communicating with vocalizations of loud screeches, hissing or even howling, which was later determined to be Morse Code. SCP-… was signaling words such as: Food, Water, Heat, Air and a couple of names which were came out to be the names of Greek Gods, leading to the conclusion that SCP-… has been alive since ancient times.
SCP-… has been showing symptoms of mood swings , those being:
- Happy
- Mild
- Aggressive
- Hostile
SCP-…'s mood swings have been witnessed happening every one (1) hour. When in a "happy mood", SCP-… has been seen playing (chasing its tail, running around in the containment cell, rolling on the floor, etc.), whilst when in a "mild mood", SCP-… is idle or trying to communicate with the guards. When in an "aggressive mood" SCP-… has been witnessed snarling and charging at the guards but stopping just before hitting the glass, whilst in a "hostile mood", SCP-… has attempted to escape or/and attack the guards.
