Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 15m x 10m x 15m cell. Gas Valves which includes carbon dioxide that is inside the cell is to be open every time except with the approval of a Level 4 and higher personnel.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a gas substance with an unknown origin. SCP-XXXX has four stages from harmless to harmful.
SCP-XXXX Stages:
1- After the first contact with SCP-XXXX will feel prostration after 10 minutes from touching it. After 15 minutes the person will faint from an unknown reason.
2- The person will wake up after 6-8 hours from faint and will say that they are so hungry.
If food will be given to the person, they will vomit it out. After 5 minutes, the person will lose consciousness again.
3- After 16-18 hours, the person will wake up once again, being extremely hostile to everything. They won’t want to drink nor eat anything. Then, the person will suddenly start vomiting blood out from their mouth, fainting due to the amount of blood they lost (2-3L)
4- The person will wake up 67-78 hours later, injuries and wounds everywhere on their body for an unknown reason. They will say the specific sentence: ”Too much darkness might colour your soul black while too much light can blind you.” And hit their head to the nearest thing and fortunately die.
Researchers have found that SCP-500-01 can heal SCP-XXXX’s effect fully if the stage didn’t pass Stage 3.

0.07 a.m.: Security Units escort D-65241 into the cell.
0.09 a.m.: Researches tell D-65241 to get closer to the gas and take a deep breath as he can.
0.12 a.m.: D-65241 breathes the gas and says he feels okay.
0.23 a.m.: After approximately 10 minutes, D-65241 says he’s feeling a bit tired and wants to get back to his cell and sleep. The request has been denied.
0.28 a.m.: D-65241 suddenly loses consciousness for about approximately 5 minutes later. Researcher [DATA EXPUNGED] offered to end the test but Senior Scientist [DATA EXPUNGED] denies the offer. Researcher [DATA EXPUNGED] notes down this situation as stage 1.
6.34 a.m.: D-65241 wakes up and says he’s dying of starvation.
6.46 a.m.: Subject D-45876 gets thrown into the cell with 400 grams of cooked red meat to feed D-65241. D-65241 starts eating the meat. D-45876 gets escorted back to his cell.
6.57 a.m.: D-65241 finishes eating. After two minutes, D-65241 starts vomiting everything he ate.
7.14 a.m.: Two janitors get escorted to the cell and clean the mess up. And they leave the cell.
7.34 a.m.: D-65241 loses consciousness yet again. Researcher [DATA EXPUNGED] notes this situation as stage 2.
11.46 p.m. D-65241 wakes up again and starts screaming in a high pitch. An intern gets escorted inside the cell to give him anesthetics with a help of a syringe but D-65241 refuses to take the syringe. Intern gets closer to D-65241 and D-65241 starts attacking the intern and intern gets escorted to a secured confinement cell for questioning afterwards.
