Special Containment procedures - SCP-XXXX must be kept in a padded steel 5x5 meter box with multiple heaters in each wall which must be powered at all times and there must be a camera on each wall. anyone near the box is to tell 05-Personnel if they see ice on the walls. every 3 days 2 D-class personnel are to be put into the room for the wraith to return to its dormant state. only level 4 personnel or higher may enter the box without and must report if they start to feel cold.
Description - SCP-XXXX is a wraith like sentient being who Immediately freezes anything within a 4 meter distance. the wraith vibrates at a low frequency, allowing it to travel through any frozen surface. SCP-XXXX can freeze people and take control of them, allowing basic motor functions even when at absolute zero. it has been heard talking to itself while in control of a human, but they soon die after being possessed from extreme frostbite. interviews may be possible in the future. the wraith was found at the south pole after communication was lost with Dr. █████ during an excavation of the SCP while it was it what seemed like a coma. the wraith can scream at a high frequency when not in possession of a human body that only causes slight tinnitus for a few minutes.
Test A-1 - A D-class personnel was put into the room and the heaters were turned down. the wraith first moved around, as if trying to sense if he was a threat. the SCP did this for 1 minute, then rushed at the D-class personnel and froze him instantly. the wraith then went inside of the body and did nothing for a few moments, then the body started to rise, and the eyes changed their color to a very light blue. The SCP then walked around the room a few times muttering before crumbling into dust.
Test A-2 - Two D-class personnel were put into the room and the heaters were lowered. the SCP looked liked it was studying them for a moment, and then rushed at one person and froze him. the wraith again took control of the body and then ran at the other D-class and froze him. the wraith then continued to dismember and eat the other body. once the SCP finished, the possessed body crumbled and the wraith came out, retreating into a corner and going into a dormant state which lasted for three days before the wraith went back to normal activity.
