Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Instances of SCP-XXXX are to be contained in Cohabitating Large-Humanoid Containment Cell 36-Delta in Site-57's east wing. The cell is to be furnished with standard co-habited humanoid amenities with some changes, including, but not limited to: a single bed instead of two1, typical feline entertainment products2, and elevated platforms and ropes for the purposes of exercise. Additionally, a harpsichord, two violins, and writing materials have been provided for enrichment and research purposes. SCP-XXXX-A and -B are permitted to compose music; when finished, the compositions are to be confiscated and compared to other classical era pieces.

Both instances of SCP-XXXX are to be regularly given a 8:00-10:00 and 14:00-16:00 medical evaluation(s) by personnel. The entities are to be given access to consistent dosages of citalopram, sertaline and lorazepam3.

Restraining and muzzling SCP-XXXX is unnecessary, however, if either SCP-XXXX-A or SCP-XXXX-B begin displaying self-harming or disruptive behavior, they are to be restrained immediately.

Should either SCP-XXXX-A or SCP-XXXX-B breach containment, confectionaries and desserts are to be used to lure SCP-XXXX-A to containment. SCP-XXXX-B will always follow.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a pair of humanoid males with strong feline-like features which include felinoid eyes, ears, tails, and claws. SCP-XXXX-A stands at 170 centimeters, has dark brown hair, copper eyes, black short-furred ears and tail. SCP-XXXX-B stands at 163 centimeters, has unkempt blond hair, dark orange eyes, long cream-colored fur reminiscent of a Maine Coon. SCP-XXXX have both been observed to exhibit a consistent depressive mood, with SCP-XXXX-A sporadically shifting to a low manic emotional state. Both entities comprising SCP-XXXX claim to be rivaling eighteenth century composers, "Antonio Salieri and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart”; concurrent and progressive research to substantiate this claim to follow.

SCP-XXXX’s dental anatomy—especially its canine teeth—matches that of felis catus4, SCP-XXXX-A's canines are much more prominent and SCP-XXXX-B has a gap between its two maxillary central incisors, but their jaw is that of a human's. It has retractable claws on its all extremities and its eyes have slit pupils instead of rounded ones. The entities are capable of human speech but will make loud feline vocalizations when in need of something. Despite the human features, SCP-XXXX is vulnerable to overstimulation for they still have enhanced senses—hearing, smell and vision. SCP-XXXX will instinctively enter a state of paralysis when the back of the neck is pinched.

SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B both display high levels of ambition and eagerness for knowledge. Subjects have scored low on IQ tests and have low attention spans. On average, SCP-XXXX-A is more calm in its behavior while SCP-XXXX-B shows more haphazardous behavior. Both have been observed displaying intimacy towards each other. Both SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B speak multiple languages, notably Italian, French and German, however, only the latter is capable of speaking English.

Both occurences of SCP-XXXX are having difficulty remembering details prior to containment. Information regarding SCP-XXXX ranges from readily available to difficult to find, however, there are congruences between their claims and the information available. More research and data on the anomalies are still needed.

Addendum.XXXX.1—Discovery: SCP-XXXX-A was found in the Vienna Central Cemetery on 31/01/2018, 22:53 after staff members reported sightings of a humanoid entity with luminous eyes roaming on cemetery grounds. A mobile task-force was deployed to Simmering, Vienna, Austria on 01/02/2018 and the anomaly was found in front of the grave of Ludwig van Beethoven5, seemingly distraught, and willingly entered Foundation custody.

On 10/07/2018, 20:46, a similar occurrence was reported from the staff members of St. Marx Cemetery and a task force was immediately deployed to Landstraße, Vienna, Austria. SCP-XXXX-B was found climbing the gate, trying to escape, but got its clothing stuck in the process. Field agents had to subdue SCP-XXXX-B with a clothespin, due to it trying to injure the agents, before bringing it into custody.

The staff members of both cemeteries were amnesticized.

Addendum.XXX.2—Aftermath: The result of the resuscitation of both instances of SCP-XXXX, left indentations on the burial grounds. The grave of Antonio Salieri had an indent that was 2.5 meters below the ground. The grave was dug up and the remains of the Italian composer was discovered to be missing. SCP-XXXX-B's case on the other hand had an indentation of 1.3 meters that was approximately 7 meters away from the believed grave of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The indentations and the dug up grave were soon covered up to avoid suspicion from public eye.

The skull that was exhumed by a gravedigger in 1801, which was believed to be Mozart's skull, has been bought from the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria by the Foundation and is gone under testing. A replica skull has been placed in the museum.

Addendum.XXXX.3—Felinoid traits and genetic testing: Instances of SCP-XXXX have shown to have more feline behaviors alongside with their human behaviors. There have been occasions where both instances were carrying rattus norvegicus6 in their mouths during interviews. Security footages show both instances in their individual and co-habiting containment cells to be chasing said pests in their cells. SCP-XXXX-A is apprehensive with regards to its change in behavior becoming more feline; SCP-XXXX-B on the other hand doesn't mind it7.

A letter written in Italian, German and French has been given by SCP-XXXX-A with a dead rodent attached to it. The following letter has been translated by Dr. Fox Roth-Dayrit:

Tissue samples taken from both instances show varying distribution of homo sapiens8 and felis catus DNA depending on where the tissue is taken. The most amount of feline DNA compared to human DNA was found along the ears, tail, digits, the inside of mouth, and some of the facial muscles. Genetic testing regarding their identity is still under investigation.

Addendum.XXXX.4—Bite Incidents:

Addendum.XXXX.5.1—SCP-XXXX-A's relationship with SCP-XXXX-B: SCP-XXXX-A have exhibited signs of distress, often making loud vocalizations in its containment unit, hitting its head against the walls of its containment cell, pulling its hair, and refusing to eat. When questioned, it blamed itself for the death of SCP-XXXX-B.

Upon the containment of SCP-XXXX-B, the anomaly was observed to recognize SCP-XXXX-A immediately.

The following interview log was originally in German, and has been translated by Dr. Fox Roth-Dayrit

Upon being informed that SCP-XXXX-A was contained in the same site as SCP-XXXX-B, it started to breach containment frequently, but still restrained, as it was observed that it was struggling to remove its restraints.

The following log is already in English. No translations are needed.

Addendum.XXXX.5.2—Rumour: A common rumour surrounding Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's death is that he was poisoned by Antonio Salieri, who was jealous of his compositional skill. However, there is no historical evidence that supports this rumour, as Mozart's reported symptoms did not match with those of poisons commonly used in the 18th century13. This rumour may have caused mental distress with the anomalous entities as it worsened both anomalies' conditions.

Addendum.XXXX.5.3—SCP-XXXX-A's relationship with SCP-XXXX-B (continued): After containing the anomalous entities together, both SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B displayed a slight improvement of mood. They have been observed to show no aggression to each other and are often seen composing and/or playing together. Incidents of containment breaches have significantly reduced.

The following interview log was originally in French, German and Italian, and has been translated by Dr. Fox Roth-Dayrit

SCP-XXXX-B requested for copies and recordings of F. X. Mozart's compositions. The request was granted and SCP-XXXX-A assisted in identifying some of the missing compositions. SCP-XXXX-B was observed to be emotional while reading the copies and listening to the recordings.

The following interview log was originally in Italian and French, and has been translated by Junior Researchers Dylan Danniell, Ambrose Valentin and Dr. Fox Roth-Dayrit

Addendum.XXXX.6—SCP-XXXX-B's Cause of Death in 1791: A vivisection on SCP-XXXX-B was performed on ██/██/2018 and traces of its death and revival can be seen within the anomaly's body. Further examination of the entity's internal organs concluded that the anomaly died from [DATA EXPUNGED] before being resuscitated more than 200 years later. SCP-XXXX-A was confirmed to never have been the killer of SCP-XXXX-B.

Item #: SCP-XXXX-B

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-B is to be contained in a standard humanoid containment cell and is required to be restrained due to high risk of potentially harming staff. A harpsichord is provided as enrichment. SCP-XXXX-B is contained with SCP-XXXX-A in a modified humanoid containment cell—sized 30 meters x 22 meters x 40 meters—with safety platforms and small plush toys that allows it to run, climb and practice catching prey. The cell is furnished with a bed (which the entities decide to share), a table, two chairs and a shelf with cat toys that are given by the facility. A harpsichord and two violins are provided in the cell for the humanoid objects as enrichment and research purposes. The humanoid musical artifacts are permitted to compose music and are provided with writing materials; the compositions are studied closely and compared with other works.

SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B are regularly given a check up by medical personnel and are provided with medications to maintain manageability with their anxiety and to decrease SCP-XXXX-B’s obsessive-compulsive behaviours. A therapist is also provided to keep the artifacts well maintained and manageable.

SCP-XXXX-B has a possibility of injuring the staff with its teeth and claws and is very rambunctious and restless. Restraints and a muzzle may be used, but are not necessary.

Description: SCP-XXXX-B is a 1.63 humanoid felid male appearing to be 29-34 years of age claiming to be the 18th century musical composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It has blond wavy and unkempt shoulder-length hair that is parted on the left side, luminous and intensely colored orange eyes and cream colored tail and ears. Its ears have tufts of fur and long fur running along the entity's tail that are comparable to a maine coon.

The dental anatomy of SCP-XXXX-B—especially its canine teeth—matches that of a domestic house cat (with a gap between its two maxillary central incisors), but it's jaw is that of a human's. It has retractable claws on its extremities and its eyes have slit pupils instead of rounded ones. The entity is capable of human speech, but will make loud feline vocalizations when it is in need of something. Despite the human features, it is vulnerable to overstimulation for it still has enhanced senses—hearing, smell and vision.

SCP-XXXX-B is rebellious and chatty, but has been slightly more compliant over the course of weeks. It stays close to SCP-XXXX-A, often giving suggestions that the other object entity describes as “impulsive and terrible idea”, but it also serves as emotional support for the other specimen. It is recommended to have extra accompaniment for SCP-XXXX-B due to its chaotic behaviour, in case it decides to run off. SCP-XXXX-B is ambitious and a perfectionist who is easily bored and eager to learn (though, lacking a bit in smarts), similar to its taller object counterpart. The specimen is very haphazard, obnoxious and jittery, a complete opposite to SCP-XXXX-A. The object entity can speak in multiple languages, very notably in German, French, Italian and English.

SCP-XXXX-B is muzzled and restrained due to the risk of harming staff and minimal contact should be made. SCP-XXXX-B is constantly breaching containment upon being informed that SCP-XXXX-A is contained in the same facility. Constant monitoring of SCP-XXXX’s cells and any signs of loud vocalizations is required. It is also advised to not provoke the entity as it is showing signs of aggression towards staff, despite not biting them. SCP-XXXX-B has been having depressive episodes since learning about the rumour. It is still being monitored in case of containment breach to get to SCP-XXXX-A. SCP-XXXX-B is now contained with SCP-XXXX-A in a new containment cell and surveillance is lessened. Containment breaches are now a rare occurrence. SCP-XXXX-B is showing signs of obsessive-compulsive behaviour since being removed from its restraints, but was able to be curbed in the following weeks. A therapist and medications are provided.

Information about SCP-XXXX-B’s claimed identity ranges from easy to find to impossible to gather enough data on, though we can find concurrence between the available data and the object specimen’s claims. More research is still needed and more data on the object entity is needed.

Addendum: The aforementioned rumour states that the cause of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s death was due to Antonio Salieri’s jealousy that led him to poison the musician. Even if the cause of death is still unknown, there is no proven evidence that the composer was poisoned by his rival and colleague.

Addendum: When spotted breaching containment with SCP-XXXX-A, it will follow its accompaniment like a duckling. Even in returning to the cell.

Either write these or not

or everyone but you is confuzzled

yeah am kinda not using the right pronouns for the scips hhhhhhhhh

  • SCP-XXXX (Salieri) still feels guilty about SCP-xxxx's (Mozart) death in the first few months
  • SCP-XXXX is under s t r e s s before Dr. Fox was able to find more proof that SCP-XXXX was innocent
  • When SCP-xxxx was unmuzzled, many regretted that decision because he was so annoying (and someone threw a shoe at his face)
  • SCP-XXXX ceased breaching containment after an incident
  • SCP-xxxx kept breaching containment after hearing that SCP-XXXX is contained in the same site
  • For some reason, it makes sense for SCP-xxxx to be afraid of injection needles (I don't know why and I hate it)
  • Dr. Fox Roth-Dayrit is looking for ways to disprove further that SCP-XXXX did not kill SCP-xxxx and is also looking for a why SCP-xxxx died
  • SCP-XXXX and SCP-xxxx had a bit of a rivalry back then, but they were still acquaintances
  • SCP-XXXX had a night of confused screaming, SCP-xxxx on the other hand had a night of confused laying on the ground
  • At some point, one of Dr. Fox's assistant researchers will hold up a mirror at the scips
  • The therapy sessions and the interviews will help them learn more about each other(???)
  • Getting the skips hear recordings of their works and see if they remember shit

Goodness gracious, I don’t know what to say after that video log. I might get another headache if I have to re-watch it.
