The spinosauras fossil after being seperated from SCP-3712 in the wake of Incident 3712-A

Item #: SCP-3712

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3712 Is to be kept in a 2x2 containment cell that does not posses a door system or ventilation leading directly into the cell. SCP-3712 Is belived to be somewhere in the New York City sewage system with several parts of differing attractions at New York City museum. After incident 3712-A, 05 Council has ordered the immediate re-containment of SCP-3712 as a priority. 05 Council has also considered termination on sight of the anomaly.

Description: SCP-3712 Apears to be a slime like substance with a purple tinge. This substance is completely sapient and can choose it victims off desire. The substance can manipulate istelf to be able to fit into any opening or crack aswell as split itself into several parts (up to 3) however all parts are needed to be combined before SCP-3712 May begin anomalous activity’s. SCP-3712 is able to engage in multiple physical activity’s such a swimming or climbing near vertical walls aswell as hanging from the roof of any solid structure. The anomaly does not eat or drink at any time nor does it get effected by fatigue even after being on the move for several days.

SCP-3712, when in direct contact with any dead or dying humans or animals, will attempt to re-enter that creature (By forceful entry of any present way into the body) and take control of its remaining parts. This ability also enables the ability to create artificial tendons, muscles and other artificial body parts to be able to re-encarnate a skeleton of any creature. This has proven to be a dangerous attribute especially when the manipulated skeleton belongs to a predatory creature in witch case SCP-3712 May develope a predatory instinct similar to that of the creature manipulated. SCP-3712 has shown an unprecedented attraction the skeletons of dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures mainly due to their size and power. A particular favorite is large predators such as Tyranosuar or Carnatour. SCP-3712 Will on rare occasion attempt to enter an alive organism and forcefully take it over in the way or damaging the brain or other vital organs or by restricting blood flow to the body.

The anomaly may also take parts from different skeletons or dead organisms to make “hybrid” creatures that can be tailor made for different purposes. This activity will mainly involve taking mechanical parts from vehicles to make a “Mech” type “Suit Of Armour” around the anomaly protecting it from projectiles or any other weaponry targeted at SCP-3712. The anomaly is able to “consume” oncoming projectiles in its body mass and possibly even use the projectiles to create “hybrids” as described.

Adendum:

Incident 3712-A:
During an event that took place on the 9/04/2013, SCP-3712 was sighted in a New York City museum exploring the “Dinosaurs Ruled The World” exibits. Immediately authorities reported it to the Foundation and 4 Mobile Task Force units (Zeta 5, Epsilon 11, Beta 10 and Tau 5) where dispatched to the area. SCP-3712 noticed the commotion and attached itself to the skeleton of a Spinosaur and began producing multiply artificial muscles to re-join the skeleton. After 10 minuted of this procedure, SCP-3712 had successfully rejoined the skeleton to a point where it was fully mobile. A lieutenant of Tau-5 noticed the spinosaur moving and announced it. SCP-3712 Then charged the unit and engaged in violently and rapidly killing members of the unit. The Epsilon-11 commander then fired an “RPG” at the back of the fossils skull, destroying the impacted area. Almost immediately SCP-3712 abandons the fossils and makes it escape in a cooling vent.
Aproximately 7 Mobile Task Force members (4 Tau-5, 3 Epsilon-11) where found dead from lacerations and blood loss. The location of SCP-3712 is still unknown.
