Ehynn

Seeking Greenlights: Yes

Page Type: SCP Article

Genre: Other: Scientific and worldwide Intrigue

Elevator Pitch: Man with rabbit head, origin very obscure, insanely intelligent, omniscient perhaps, not violent but a mastermind. Cunning and dulcet. The entity was captured after a series of murders and remains in containment.

Central Narrative: I want the narrative to remain obscure aside from the passing events of capture and SCP interaction with the entity, and the ensuing worldwide enthrall with the entity.

Hook/Attention-Grabber: The SCP is well known, popular even, amongst the online community and many people debate its origins. The SCP may have let itself get caught, as the coin it placed showed an SCP facilitator who should have had their identity hidden. Many people, in canon universe, believe the Rabbit will break free soon as its capture was too easy given its insane intelligence. The entity information wasn't released publicly, but an SCP operative leaked the information under the alias of 'Ehynn.' Some people even idolize this entity, while some worry that the entity's following is part of its plan to secure world domination.

Additional Notes:
The entity is rated 'Safe' so as to reduce attention drawn to the entity, on the premise that the SCP isn't certain the Rabbit was responsible for the attacks, plus the entity exhibiting a complacent behavior. I also have a draft own below for the finalized product following the typical format. I will change the SCP number in the document later.

SCP 1929: Rabbit

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-1984 Containment protocol requires an off-site facility designated solely for entity SCP 1929. The first level of containment requires a hollow, platinum sealing block for the entity. Outer dimensions of the sealing demand 3m x 3m x 3m while the inside hollowing needs to have 200mm-800mm of spacing. On the inside of the sealing, the inner-walls must be coated with VANTAblack coating. The second layer of containment demands a cryogenic container, 4.8m x 3.7m x 3.7m. The container must have layers 1 and 3 of stainless steel with the middle layer being a 90% copper and 10% Invar alloy. The cryogenic freezer must keep ambient temperature between 76.0K and 78.0K at all times via a temperature control modulator. The outer-most layer of containment requires a dampener room with springs that are able to return a 0.001 to 0.0015 return for each and every spring. For further effectivity, the dampener room should be outputting randomized exertion to the springs with return amplitudes between 0.00m and 0.01m according to a stratified external randomizer. The facility in question must not be entered by any personnel under any circumstance, and the facility must be fenced off with fencing, 10km radial from the facility. The gates and checkpoints of the fence must be then guarded by personnel at all hours. The inner grounds of the facility must then be guarded by satellite surveillance, and any entities breaking and entering the inner grounds must be shot on the spot.

Breakdown:
The specified containment requirements are in place to sever connection between the entity and any potential contact with the outside world by at least two degrees of connection, with the measures being listed in degree of importance. The entity must be in an off-site, specially designated facility to separate the entity from other possible SCP entities that could endanger its containment. The entity must then be sealed in a platinum sealing to block-off sound emissions from the outside world, additionally providing a strong container that produces minimal oxidation/corrosion. The interior VANTAblack coating is in place to cut off the vision of the entity entirely, VANTAblack absorbing over 99.9% of all visible light. While the cryogenic freezing will not completely subdue the consciousness of the entity, it serves to slow its cognitive functions down to further reduce its chances of escape. The dampener room exists to cut off the entity's ability to detect seismic activity, believed to be one of the entity's strongest points. The springs will shift the containment center slightly, as to dampen out any seismic activity that could still reach the entity. The randomized function that determines the output cannot be a computer generated function as the entity could solve the apparently random function, and render the randomized outputs useless. Instead it is highly recommended that the randomization process be based off of something that the entity could not feasibly replicate in its head, such as car activity on a New York intersection, or wave heights on an obscure beach. Finally, the facility must be undisturbed and fencing and satellite surveillance should deter all outsider influence. Additional requirements such as 'airtight sealing' would be unnecessary as such requirements are covered by the cryogenic freezing requirements. Also unnecessary features such as the dampener room dimensions are not important, and thus not stated, as the only purpose of the room is to reduce motion to a 0.001-0.0015 output.

Appearance:
The entity, SCP-1929 is a man with a rabbit's head. The entity stands at 2.16m tall, weighing 120kg. The head of the rabbit closely identifies with an albino Swedish hare, with trademark red eyes and white fur. The lower half of the entity entails a man of Nordic appearance in his mid 30's. Further specifications of the entity's descent are unknown. As far as scientific analyses on the entity show, SCP-1929 is biologically a human from the shoulders down, however the head of the entity does not appear to be a true rabbit,. Brain-mapping tests, along with an fMRI reveal that the entity's brain does not represent any type of brain known today. The CPU of this entity is extremely dense, three times heavier than the average adult human brain, and features a very large cerebral cortex, suggesting high computational ability. The clothes found were reminiscent of men's fashion of the 1920's and 1930's with a black trench coat, white collared shirt, and black corduroy trousers.

Entity Activity:
The entity has not been known to attack its victims, or even display a violent nature, however many crimes have been committed with the trademark of a 24kt gold coin being left at the scene. 17 of the coins were secured by the SCP foundation and were analyzed. The coins contained the head of a man who each time, became the target of its next attack. The other side of the coin always showed the head of the SCP-1929, the rabbit. For each crime, the enacting party were all consisting of men who had no recollection or association with the coins left at the crime scene, and none of the perpetrators caught in the crime seem to suggest they had any association with SCP-1929. Upon the 16th coin being acquired by the SCP foundation, they were able to identify the head of the coin and track down the location of the rabbit's next attack. Although the SCP foundation wasn't able to catch SCP-1929 in the act, they were able to catch the entity placing the coin at the scene, at which point they were able to tranquilize the entity and deport it off to the prepared facility. Analysis of the 17th coin acquired depicted the head of the designated SCP-1929 facilitator ██████████████. So far, investigators are unable to discover the motive behind SCP-1929's attacks and are still unable to track down the entity's origins. Blood analysis, fingerprints, reveal no information as to this entity's history. Interestingly enough, the clothing secured from the entity do not even contain a recognizable brand name or tailor insignia. All attempts to analyze the specifics of the entity to confirm it as a potential inhabitant of earth have all failed, yet fashion and appearance do not appear to be extraterrestrial. While the world has decided to call this SCP 'Rabbit,' theory groups online have gone further, assuming the identity of this SCP-1929, claiming it to be the result of a generalized AI experiment gone rogue. The SCP can neither confirm nor deny allegations brought by the masses regarding the identity of this SCP.
