Special Containment procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 3x3x3 meters liquid proof containment chamber. If any leaks are spotted, maintenance is to be performed immediately.
It is of utmost importance not to inform SCP-XXXX of said crack or leak. Instead, SCP-XXXX is to be placed in an air tight 20x20x20 centimeter glass container and it is of utmost importance that SCP-XXXX does not exit containment at any time for any reason at all.
Failure to comply can result in SCP-XXXX gathering enough mass that it will be impossible to bring under control again.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a vaguely human shaped animated clay figure, with a fluxiating height between 15 and 30 centimeters. SCP-XXXX usually has 4 Limbs consisting of tentacle-shaped extentions, their endings being shaped into various forms by SCP-XXXX, often hands and feet. SCP-XXXX can grow additional limbs but prefers not to, the reason is believed to be that it prefers to resemble humans. SCP-XXXX also doesnt have any facial features, although still being able to hear and see. SCP-XXXXs methods of doing either are currently unknown.
Subjects colour will always be grey whether additional clay pieces are any other colour. This way it is possible to determine which parts of clay is already consumed or not.
Despite seemingly being made of typical clay, studies of SCP-XXXXs samples indicate that SCP-XXXXs tissue consists of living cells identical to human tissue cells allthough they are composed entirely of clay. This explains why SCP-XXXX is able to grow and maintain itself without consuming nutrients, breathing oxygen and drinking water, things that any other carbon based lifeforms usually needs to survive and instead thrives on standard clay it attaches to its biomass. SCP-XXXXs size depends on how much clay it consumes. SCP-XXXX prevers If a piece of clay is attached onto itself. SCP-XXXX then will begin to convert it into its biomass. This process is simular to digestion and takes from 5 minutes up to ██ days to fully convert. At completion, afore mentioned piece of clay will be a part of SCP-XXXX, which cannot be undone. SCP-XXXX is able to feel hunger but it has not been observed to have symptoms of starvation although still begging for clay to consume.
SCP-XXXX alongside two other specimen classified as SCP-XXXY and SCP-XXXZ were discovered in a house fire which took place in a village located in southern Germany. It was then brought into foundation custody in 20██ alongside SCP-XXXY and SCP-XXXZ.
SCP-XXXX is sapient and seems to have cognitive abilities of a 10 year old human child at standard size, but is not to be treated as such.
SCP-XXXX is usually cooperative but can grow inobediant if not stimulated enough. If this is the case, SCP-XXXX is to be promised a small reward for cooperating after the test.
SCP-XXXX is not capable of speech because it does not possess a mouth or vocal cords, although attempts have been made to teach SCP-XXXX to form a human throat and vocal cords, those however failed due to SCP-XXXX not being skilled enough to form himself to have vocal coords.
However, attempts to teach SCP-XXXX to read and write have proven to be successful and are now to be used by SCP-XXXX to communicate with personel.
SCP-XXXXs cognitive state depends on SCP-XXXXs size. Splitting it's body results in splitting it's mind. Each SCP-XXXX-██ instance will store different sections of it's memories but general behaviour and personality will remain the same. SCP-XXXX-██ instances do not share a mind and cannot communicate when not in sight.
The smaller an SCP-XXXX instance is, the less intelligent it is and vice versa.
Note: Subject's volume of mass is not to exceed 1 cubic meter. Otherwise there might be a possibility that it will develop intelligence and strength on such a level that SCP-XXXX might attempt to breach containment.
SCP-XXXX is able to split itself into a maximum of ████ smaller instances of itself, those are to be referred to as ranging from SCP-XXXX-1 to SCP-XXXX-████. In addition, SCP-XXXX instances can merge as one again.
SCP-XXXX is harmless to humans, but if big enough, can generate enough strength to seriously injure an adult Human, this is the reason why SCP-XXXX must never reach a size greater than the one of a common house cat.
If SCP-XXXX becomes aggressive, completely uncooperative or grows too much, SCP-XXXX is to be sprayed with a mixture of water and typical cleaning agents, as they are made of chemicals that are able to dissolve the type of clay SCP-XXXXs biomass is made of. This will inflict a burning sensation to SCP-XXXX, and it will attempt to eject the dissolved or "dead" clay-tissue. This will result in SCP-XXXX losing a great amount of mass, which will weaken and pacify it. SCP-XXXX is to be sprayed until it reaches the standard containment size. SCP-XXXX cannot be harmed by fire as it is not hot enough but it is possible to burn segments of it by direct contact with liquid metals that are hotter than 3000° C, but it is not as effective as the cleaning agent solution. Any other means to destroy SCP-XXXX have been proven impossible or ineffective.
Addendum XXXX-1: Incident XXXX-A
A aicroscopic piece of SCP-XXXX, which will be now classified as SCP-XXXX-1, has managed to breach containment and entered the clay storage room in which excess clay for SCP-XXXX was stored. SCP-XXXX-1 consumed all of the contents from the storage room and promptly grew to the size of 6 meters and has entered an aggressive state.
Any attempts to pacify it have been proven uneffective as it was simply too large and too aggressive. In addition to that, SCP-XXXX-1 has caused 12 deaths of personel by inserting them into itself, causing them to suffocate inside SCP-XXXX-1. After Dr.H████ reportedly lured SCP-XXXX-1 into a special 10x10x10 meters containment chamber designed for huge SCPs, the blast doors were locked shut and 11000 liters of molten Lead were poured in via SCP-294. this entirely encased SCP-XXXX-1 in Lead. A request to place SCP-XXXX-1 into a container full of highly concentrated cleaning agent as a mean to neutralize it is now pending approval by the 05 counil, until then, SCP-XXXX-1 is to be kept inside the lead mold. SCP-XXXX however, is to be interrogated whether it's responsible for this incident.
