Special Containment Procedures: The 57,000m² wooded area containing SCP-XXXX has been acquired by the Foundation and converted into Site-██. A 7 meter high fence has been established around the perimeter of the site and is constantly patrolled by guards. Civilians attempting to gain access to Site-██ are to be turned away. A small tracking device has been attached to the bottom section of SCP-XXXX’s frame with its location and current path of movement streamed to Site-██’s surveillance center.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a metal shopping trolley of ████████ branding with a manufacturing date of ████, 2017. The sign attached to the front of the trolley displays previous advertising for the “█████” brand of consumables as well as brandishing the name “MOIRA”, which has been crudely scribbled onto it using permanent marker. The metallic frame and wheels of the trolley appear to be in good condition, despite spending an unknown amount of time exposed to rain and other environmental hazards. SCP-XXXX cannot be moved by any force currently known to the foundation with the exception of SCP-XXXX-1. This does not count for the sticks inside the trolley, which can be added and removed with ease.

At random intervals during the hours of 07:00AM and 06:00PM, a black, humanoid figure (referred to as SCP-XXXX-2) will appear at the back end of the trolley and begin pulling/pushing it through various routes and sections of Site-██, occasionally stopping to pick up sticks off the ground or to pull them off nearby trees and place them into SCP-XXXX in random configurations, and will continue to do so for approximately 1 to 2 hours before seamlessly vanishing. SCP-XXXX-2 does not seem to manifest when a human is within 50 meters of SCP-, and cannot be interacted with. SCP-XXXX-2 does not appear to experience difficulty traversing the area, being able to pull and push SCP-XXXX across mud and various fauna with ease.¹ SCP-XXXX’s wheels do not appear to leave behind tracks in the mud, its routes instead being charted daily via the attached tracking device’s GPS signal. SCP-XXXX-2 does not interact with other humans or animals in any way, seemingly disappearing when a human gets within 20 meters, only to reappear when said human leaves the area as if nothing had happened.

SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties were made apparent to the foundation on ██/██/████ when a civilian was found dead in close proximity to SCP-XXXX. It is presumed that the civilian was travelling through the wooded area for recreational purposes and witnessed the manifestation of SCP-XXXX-2, became extremely panicked, and attempted to flee the area, falling down a hill due to rushing and died from an impact with a tree. Knowing that the civilian was rather experienced in traversing the area and had gone there regularly, the foundation assisted law enforcement with searching the area, when SCP-XXXX-2's manifestation was witnessed by multiple law enforcement officers. The area was quarantined and all witnesses administered amnestics after being interviewed.

Officer, Robert Lee: I'll believe that when it happens. What I saw… it wasn't normal.

Dr. Bellamy: Your correct, Officer. What you saw wasn't normal, and that's why we exist. Now, why don't you tell me why your unit was sent out into that wooded area?

Officer, Robert Lee: …We had a report of a missing person, mid teens. Parent told us the were up the nearby woods, where they spent most of their time. Me and my partner searched a part of the woods and it wasn't long before we saw…

Dr. Bellamy: The child's corpse, right?

Officer, Robert Lee: ..Yeah. We spotted it fairly quickly. Sorry, this isn't exactly easy for me. It's only my first week on the for-

Dr. Bellamy: What happened afterwards?

Officer, Robert Lee: Well, we called it in and requested backup. A strange group of scientist looking people showed up with the boys. A small group of us were told to explore the surrounding area, that's when we saw that… thing, looked like a mold man pushing a trolley around the woods. The weird looking people that were with us noticed it shortly after, bagged me and the others who had seen it and… I only remember waking up here after that.

Dr. Bellamy: And you don't remember anything else?

Officer, Robert Lee: No, I don't. I don't know what I saw, but I figured it was some sci-fi shit after a bag got thrown over my head. ….Look, I won't tell anyo-

Dr. Bellamy: That won't be necessary, officer. Thank you for your co-operation.

Robert Lee was administered amnestics and sent back to his family. All records of the incident were erased from police databases and a cover story was provided to the child's family.

Addendum—1: SCP-XXXX Testing
1. EXPERIMENT A-1: 1 Class-D personnel instructed to attempt to push a standard shopping trolley > through site-██
Result: Subject pushes trolley 50 meters down site-██’s central concrete path before stopping. Subject is told to push the trolley off path through the overgrown fauna. Subject makes it 12 meters off path before the trolley’s wheels get stuck in the mud. Subject is unsuccessful at freeing the trolley and is told to leave.
Notes: Further testing is required to determine if the wooded area SCP-XXXX occupies is in itself anomalous, or if SCP-XXXX-1 is just able to traverse the area with ease. - Dr. Bellamy

2. EXPERIMENT A-2: Clawed spikes are attached to SCP-XXXX’s wheels.
Result: SCP-XXXX-1 Manifests and continues its regular activity with no differences in behavior, not showing any increased difficulty. SCP-XXXX-1 disappears approximately 2 hours later after travelling 162 meters. The clawed spikes attached to the wheels disappear 20 minutes later.
Notes: So this thing doesn't care if the wheels are obstructed, it’s still able to traverse the area with ease… Maybe SCP-XXXX resets itself in some way at the end of a wood shopping session, and that's why the spikes disappeared. But if that were true, why has the attached tracker not been removed? More testing required. - Dr. Bellamy

3. EXPERIMENT B: 1 Class-D personnel instructed to travel to SCP-XXXX’s location and remove all items contained inside it.
Result: Subject arrives at SCP-XXXX 6 minutes after entering Site-██, expressing extreme difficulty moving through the overgrown fauna. SCP-XXXX is seen leaning against a tree in an awkward position, containing 37 sticks of various shapes and sizes. Subject is instructed to remove all sticks inside SCP-XXXX and place each one 20 meters away. Subject complies and leaves the area. Approximately 4 hours later, SCP-XXXX-1 manifests at SCP-XXXX’s location and begins its regular activity before disappearing an hour and 34 minutes later.
Notes: It seems that removing items from SCP-XXXX does not seem to have any effect on SCP-XXXX-1. It must not care about how full the trolley is, it just wants to fill it. - Dr. Bellamy
