Special Containment Procedures: A perimeter measuring 30 kilometers in radius around the area SCP-4XXX patrols is to be established and kept defended at all times. Two Foundation controlled vessels (currently SCPS-DD-134 "Reassurance" and SCPS-DD-176 "Mercy") are to circle the area constantly and ward off any civilian or military vessels (Note: vessels assigned to defend SCP-4XXX should be acquired american vessels, or vessels exclusively built in America, to avoid confrontation). Negotiations are to be made with local governments to keep ships from approaching the area.

Note: vessels assigned to defend SCP-4XXX should be acquired american vessels, or vessels exclusively built in America, to avoid confrontation), at all times. Vessels belonging to the Alliance belonging to Allied powers are free to travel in and out of the area, and are encouraged to plan routes through the area of which SCP-4XXX patrols. Active disinformation campaigns are to be carried out in Central powers Axis powers in an effort to cover up the true location of SCP-4XXX, these include but are not limited to:

• Leaking falsified files
• Fake eyewitness accounts
• Intentional creation of conflicting reports
• Use of prototype mass produced amnestics

Description: SCP-4XXX throughout all iterations is a anomalous battleship with characteristics of battleship classes built ahead of its time. At all times, SCP-4XXX will engage any military vessels belonging to nations other than the USA. Observation has shown that SCP-4XXX instances are completely devoid of crew, however turrets and anti-aircraft guns are commonly seen moving to track targets, indicating SCP-4XXX is able to operate without people. Up until now Instances of SCP-4XXX have been consistent with classes of battleships built █-██ years ahead of the date SCP-4XXX manifests.

The most recent iteration of SCP-4XXX is an as of now unknown class of battleship, however from markings we can imply that SCP-4XXX is a Hawaii-class battleship (Note: The US Navy has never officially designed a Hawaii-class battleship outside of fringe designs) named "USS Texas" with the numbering "BB-76". SCP-4XXX looks to have borrowed design choices from the recently proposed Zumwalt-class guided missile destroyer, including:

• Streamlined, low radar cross section.
• Concealed rifles
• Advanced, more low profile engines

Other armaments include:

• 8 Concealed main battery rifles (Four per turret, ahead of and behind the superstructure).
• numerous platforms of which to launch ballistic missiles. Ranged radiology estimates have concluded that nuclear missiles are present.
• numerous concealed dual-purpose guns of unknown design, presumably for both anti air and anti ship operations.
• Advanced electronic countermeasures, including but not limited to: anti-missile, anti-torpedo, anti-air, and anti-radar/sonar systems.
• Enclosed hangars for storing VTOL planes of an unknown design.

Addendum 1: Starting on December ██, 19██ SCP-4XXX is to be reclassified as Euclid, due to changes in Foundation policy regarding the use of anomalous objects as tools of power. Note from an administrator:

"As the times change, so must the Foundation adapt to the new world. In the past, the Foundation has shown clear biases toward the USA and United Kingdom and has operated with the attempt to secure funding from their respective governments. However if the Foundation is ever to progress towards truly protecting the global population from anomalies, we must change from a pseudo-governmental organization, to an independent, global collective. Unlike in the past, the Foundation now has the means to procure funding and a workforce independently, without the help of a major government. This means the Foundation will start to no longer hold biases toward any singular country, and will work toward protecting everyone, regardless of creed, equally. Starting on December ██, 19██, all SCPs marked as Thaumiel are to undergo investigation to measure whether or not they are truly necessary to the furthering of Foundation interests, and either reclassified into another class, or left as Thaumiel if the objects are in fact, essential to Foundation operations."

Addendum 2: A reclassification of SCP-4XXX from Euclid to Keter is pending approval from the O5 Council. The reclassification is based on the fact that SCP-4XXX's possession of a large amount of nuclear weapons could cause a catastrophic chain reaction if triggered.
