Item #: SCP-5XXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5XXX must be contained in a cell large enough for one adult homosapien. As the creature's largest phase is the size of an adult female homosapien.
The cell ceiling must contained light diodes in a pattern of 10x10 cm apart all over the ceiling, the lights must be out of reach of SCP-5XXX so it cannot tamper with the lights. This is needed as if some diodes fail or is broken ,the rest of the diodes will contain SCP-5XXX in the cell. The lights must regularely be checked, this can be done while the creature is in phase 1, or phase 2. Though it is highly recommended to do this when it is in phase 1.
Phase 1 requires some toys in the room, as otherwise it will get depressed and bored. Phase 2 prefers some books, to pass time. Phase 3 cannot emerge as long as there are light all over the cell. Therefore the diodes, in case of an emergency must have their own back-up generator. Should the cell go dark and phase 3 emerge, anything to get light back into the cell must be done. If no light is to be found in the cell, phase 3 will emerge, in that case, security should always carry a strong flashlight for their own protection, this cannot promise their survival, but it gives them a chance of escape, or emergency containment of SCP-5XXX.
Description: SCP-5XXX may perhaps be classified as three creatures, but in reality, they are all the one and same creature. Each of these sides of the SCP-5XXX will be called phases. Phase 1 and phase 2 are quite harmless, though it should be noted that phase 2 may try to convince whoever is in hearing range to let it out. Do not comply with this, just ignore its words and carry on. Phase 1 is the most docile of the phases, and consist of no threat. However Phase 3 is why it is in a containment cell. It is uncertain if SCP-5XXX is humanoid, or something taking the form of one, a heartbeat have never been recorded, nor does the creature breathe. When SCP-5XXX changes between the phases, a strange blurr can be seen. The phase it is in will blurr out in the air for a few seconds, before instantly appearing in another phase.
Phase 1 takes form as a little girl, it is often dressed in a small simple white dress, but it has been recorded twice the dress covered with dark purple flowers. The little girl will have red hair and green eyes, her skin will always look fairly pale. In phase 1 SCP-5XXX is very docile, and friendly. It will often try to help with anything it can, even if it can't communicate with anyone. Such as tiddying the cell and smiling out of the observation window will occur on regular basis. It has never been observed that SCP-5XXX in phase 1 will have hostile intentions towards anyone. Phase 1 seems uncapeable of speech.
Phase 2 take the form of an adult woman, it is always dressed in a simple black dress. The adult woman have wine red hair, with a tint of purple, her skin is paler than phase 1, almost making SCP-5XXX in phase 2 look dead, its eyes remain the same green color as phase 1. in phase 2 SCP-5XXX will often try to come into communication with its surroundings, not responding is the best action to take if this happens, as it will get tired of trying after a while and read the books in the cell. Phase 2 seem far more intelligent than phase 1, having a full understanding of any language to the humankind, and seem to understand it is being contained in a cell. It is not known if phase 2 holds any hostile intentions towards its surroundings, but it can sometimes be seen showing the emotions of anger and frustration. In those cases phase 2 will throw around with the toys and books in the cell, which phase 1 will tiddy up when it emerges.
Phase 3 has only been seen two times in its containment here at the Foundation. It can only emerge if there is no ligth upon the creature. Phase 3 takes the form of a skeleton, burning in a flame with the hue of dark purple. It is uncertain if it is the skeleton of a female or male homosapien, but it is clear it is a skeleton of a homosapien. The eyesockets of the skull burn brighter with the fire that surrounds SCP-5XXX in phase 3, and appear to have the affect of putting unnerving fear into the victim when looked directly at. If phase 3 emerges the only course of action is to bring light back upon it in the matter of a minute, if more than a minute occurs, then it is sure to have escaped the cell and it now roaming free. If found roaming free, seek out light, it cannot touch you if you are in the direct beam of any source of light, and cannot move in light, nor move very fast near light. Shining light upon SCP-5XXX in phase 3 for about a minute, will make it change into either phase 1 and phase 2, which is uncertain. No pattern of changing between its phases have been found.
No phase 4 have ever been observed.

Interviewed: Dr. E
Interviewer: Dr. █ ████████
Foreword: Interview of Dr. E, on her visual memory of SCP-5XXX in phase 3
Log entry 1: 20:30:00
Dr. █ ████████: "Dr. E. Please tell me what you saw in the cell containing SCP-5XXX, when the light diodes went out for about one and a half minutes."
Dr. E: Dr. E stared at Dr. █ ████████ for a good amount of time before she opened her mouth. "SCP-5XXX was in phase 1 when the light diodes in the ceiling of the cell began to flicker. It was later discovered to have been an error in the circuiting. I was observing phase 1's behavior with one of its toys, when the lights flickered for a few seconds before going out completely. I of course grabbed my flashlight and shone in through the observartion window…" Dr. E hesitated.
Dr. █ ████████: "Please do continue, we want the full truth so we can safely make sure it does not happen again in the future"
Dr. E: "Y-yes…well I tried my best to find SCP-5XXX in the cell with my flashlight, so I could stop it from changing phase while the light diodes would came back. But I could not find SCP-5XXX in its cell anywhere, thinking back, I think it was hiding right by the window at one of the sides, but I am not sure. But then about a minute later, I think, I found it standing in the middle of the cell. I almost dropped the flashlight out of pure shock but held onto it by force. It was a skeleton, burning, and the flames were… purple. I dared not look into it's burning eye sockets, though I could feel fear start to spawn in the back of my head as I could see the burning eyesockets out of the corner of my eye. I Held my flashlgiht pointed directly at it, it didn't seem to move, except a few twitches in the bone toes towards me A bit after, the diodes came back, and it blurred and changed to phase 2."
