Special Containment Features: SCP is contained in a standard containment cell lined with wood planks, the interior absent of any metals. Further reinforced with pure iron bars with along the outside with no more than two centimeters of spacing surrounding the entirety of the cell. There must be at least four large plants, one full-grown tree, and it must have at least one pound of sugar scattered over the floor for the SCP to distract itself with.
No personnel over the age of twenty years old is allowed to enter the containment cell of SCP unless wearing, or armed with, an item made of pure iron.
Once a week, a D-class personnel under the age of twenty is to enter the containment cell without the presence of an item made of iron. These visits are to be closely monitored and are only allowed to be viewed by researchers with:
- minimum level 1 clearance
- over the age of twenty
- not only wearing iron but having consumed iron tablets thirty minutes before
Description: In the eye of any personnel under the age of twenty SCP may appear to be a small creature made of living wood. It has been noted that it's appearance changes depending on the sex of the observer, with males viewing it as a willowy humanoid approximately a meter in height made of varying kinds of wood with leaves mimicking the appearance of human hair. For females it would appear to be the male counterpart, typically having a similar willowy and unassuming appearance.
In the presence of this underage personnel, SCP has been known to be kind and sweet, often going out of it's way to care for said personnel. It will offer them sweets, which origins are unknown but are assumed to have been created from the constant supply of sugars to the containment cell, and will occasionally offer a mysterious golden drink from its palms.
It has been noted upon drinking from said liquid human's will experience a rush of happiness and glee. Any extraction attempt has proven to be in vain because if not immediately consumed the liquid will turn blood red and provide any consumers with suicidal thoughts and the immediate urge to vomit their organs out of their bodies.
If the observer is above the provided age SCP has the appearance of a mottled fleshy creature with limbs too long, a mouth that is more like a gash holding a near impossible amount of razor-sharp teeth, and eyes a pool of swirling purples and blues that have been proven to be extremely hypnotic. In the event personnel has forgotten their iron or the object they have brought was a false metal, the creature will immediately attack, flaying the person's skin from their body and leaving behind nothing but bones which they hide in their cell shortly after.
The personnel under the age of twenty leave the presence of SCP and after twenty-four hours will lose all memory of SCP, only left with vague memories of what the felt like visiting something they felt fell under the label of "Pixie". Older personnel often are left with vivid memories of SCP that lead to nightmares and suicidal thoughts. Upon investigation, left unattended any older personnel will attempt to take their own life within forty-eight hours of viewing SCP.
While SCP clearly indicates memetic effects on the viewer's memory, clearly exhibited in the younger category of personnel, the suicidal effects on the older personnel are believed to be caused only by viewing the SCP. Thus making it have both a memetic effect on memory and it becomes a cognito hazard upon viewing.
It appears to have an extreme allergy to iron, and upon uninterrupted contact with the metal with go into a catatonic state for a month until it has fully healed. The contact will boil its skin at all contact points and appears to have an effect on its brain as well.
SCP appears to be intelligent, and capable of free will, but only appears to be interested in pleasing a younger audience. Given weekly visits by personnel under twenty SCP will remain docile, allowing for multiple researchers to come in and administer tests. If it goes two weeks without contact from said personnel it will attempt to rip it's cage apart, only stopped by the iron caging.
Addendum: SCP appears to have appeared alone in the middle of a forest in █████████ We were alerted to its presence by the disappearance of many adults in the area, along with the eye witness statements of many children who appeared unbothered by the absence of their parents. Looking into the police reports, the children appeared to be fully aware that the "Pixie" they met in the forest had taken their parents away, but they were quoted saying that SCP gave them the unidentified liquid in exchange for them.
Upon testing, we have not found similar results.
We tried to track down the children listed in the police reports, which we later confiscated, but found that the children had all gone missing after running away into the forest.
We routinely send out a patrol to investigate the surrounding forests if any similar cases pop into the public eye, but have found that no more of SCP have been found.
