Bark Dog

Bark Dog in an SCP that has very little information known so far. Bark Dog is looked to be made of wood and bullets will most likely not do much due to unknown reasons. It's not that it won't hurt the creature, but it will not flinch. The only thing that scares the creature is fire which will most likely kill it so incase a fire somehow got into the enclosure, Bark Dog would be dead. There are a total of 23 deaths from Bark Dog with parts of the body like arms and legs found. We have evidence that Bark Dog may be able to understand a few English words. The habitat of Bark Dog is unknown but what is known is that he/she lives somewhere in Colorado, USA. Sightings of this creature have been all around Colorado. We predict that Bark Dog lives in the woods somewhere but no specific location is known.

Bark Dog is estimated around 2.50 m in width and 1 meter in height. Note that is just an estimate, we have not yet figured out the exact width and height. We have noticed Bark Dog could've killed over 50 people but hasn't most likely due to only attacking when being threatened. Ways it has been threatened is by gunshots, angry tone of voice, getting surprised, and bright lights being shined in it's eyes. Bark Dog lives in a 12 m x 12 m x 12 m enclosure. Bark Dog does not seem to eat anything and only drinks water once every two weeks.

Bark Dog was captured by a team searching for two teenage girls that went for a walk in the woods. As a team of 25 were searching, they kept in mind about Bark Dog and were expecting him/her to be around so they already had a plan to get Bark Dog. Once they found him, the team was prepared and without even lighting a fire, the small flame from the lighter scared the creature away. The plan was to scare the creature off and run into a large cage that would be taken back to the SCP facility. And the plan was a big success. Once Bark Dog got into it's enclosure, it instantly took out all of the cameras inside and attempted to escape. Of course it failed but it was very confusing why it would go for the camera like it knew what the camera was for. We have been watching Bark Dog for over three months with not much else evidence. Bark Dog likes to roam around and attempt to escape but it never works. When it is not doing that, it sleeps for an average of one hour during the night and 10 hours during the day. That tells us that this creature is nocturnal and likes to howl for something that is unknown. We predict it is calling for help but it is hard to predict this animal most of the time. Whenever infants are shown through the window, Bark Dog starts to calm down and stare at the infant until the infant is taken away. We can't be sure if it likes the baby or it is trying to scare them away.

For now, all we can do is wait until Bark Dog begins to get tired of it's enclosure. When he/she does, we will start paying more attention to them for anything we can get out of them. We have noticed Bark Dog getting larger everyday. This tells us that Bark Dog could be a young adult and most likely will grow from 2.50 m to 3 m in width and grow to 1.50 m in height in just a few years. Bark Dog is not a big threat to the facility, but can be a threat if it can be stealthy. We think stealth is it's biggest strength due to the photos found showing Bark Dog sitting next to logs or trees staying hidden. It is unknown is Bark Dog is blind or not due to them being extremely clumsy during the day. Bark Dog is not yet an alpha priority due to a small amount of information and will most likely never be a big priority unless it is out of enclosure.
