Special Containment Procedures: XXXX must be contained in a fully lit, 5x7x3m, white chamber to be under constant exposure to visible light. There must be no shadows casted inside the chamber and all light sources are to be prottected by bulletproof glass of a minimum thickness of 25 mm.
All of the creature limbs, and tail, must be chained to the walls, making sure to stretch them as much as possible to reduce their range of motion.
Only personel authorized by the O5 may enter the room to interrogate XXXX, and must wear an special suit made out of an elastic and refective full-body suit to prevent the appearance of any folds or wrinkles that may cast shadows on the clothing's surface, as well as have a one-way, reflective visor. Sessions in presence of XXXX must not exceed the 20 minute mark. Any subject that may have been in close proximity of XXXX is to be treated with amnestics immediately.
Description:
SCP-XXXX its a sapient, 5 meter long caterpillar-like creature, with a skin that seemingly absorvs all light, similar to Vantablack, appearing black and hiding any detail of its skin. It has 9 pairs of humanoid limbs, 5 of which are arms and the rest legs, which are alternated.
It's eyes are orange in colour and glow slightly. It has 2 main bigger eyes on top of its only mouth situated in it's head, and a plethora of smaller eyes all over it's body that change in number and position everyday.
XXXX emanates a field or aura which looks like black flames that covers its whole body. It is believed that this characteristic may make those close enough easier to be persuaded by the entity.
XXXX seems to be inmune to any form of physical damage, being visible light the only thing able to at least weaken it. So far, the creature hasn't presented the need to eat nor sleep, neither has it produced any kind of waste.
If XXXX comes in contact with a shadow, it can use it as a means to teleport to any other shadow, independently if connected or in line of sight of the first, up to approximately 100m away. It also presents the ability to into its thorax and pull a great variety of objects. Scientifics speculate on the possibility that his thorax is an access point to different dimmensions or realities. As described, SCP-XXXX is a sentient and intelligent being, capable of speaking fluent English and is highly capable of convincing others to do his bidding such as release it, kill other personel, commit suicide…
Containment breaches:
SCP-XXXX has scaped three times from the facilities of the foundation
-Date ██/██/████ SCP-XXXX pulled a Beretta-92 out of its thorax, broke all light sorces, and used the now dark room to warp between shadows all over the facility. Bulletproof glass was installed in the next containtment chamber.
-Date ██/██/████ SCP-XXXX pulled a dark umbrela to cover itself from the light and cast a shadow in one of the room corners. All limbs of SCP-XXXX are to be, from now on, restrained and the room must be lit from all surfaces.
-Date ██/██/████ SCP-XXXX conviced Dr Müller to let it out in exchange for a cure to a rare desease his daughter had, after this incident, all subjects that may have been exposed to XXXX must take amnestics and the period of interviews has been reduced to less than 20 minutes.
After all of this events, XXXX was recaptured and retrieved to the facility and there havent been any more events since then
