Special Containment Procedures: SCP-444 is impossible to contain due to the nature of its existance. Infomation warfare and public infomation manipulation campaigns are underway in an attempt to cause disbelief in SCP-444.

Description: SCP-444 appears to be the effect produced when a sentient object, usually an pre-pubescent child, observers an object entering and burning up in Earth’s atmosphere.

An object undergoing entry into our atmosphere, more commonly referred to as a shooting star and hereby referred to as SCP-444-1, produces a visible trail of light as its mass is burned off by friction.

When a wish is made by a person with a suitably strong personality while watching such an event said wish becomes literal reality, manifesting itself in 1 – 3 weeks.
