All four original rings given to O5.

The rings are to be worn by members of the O5 council:

  • The first by O5-1
  • The second by O5-3
  • The third by O5-7
  • The fourth by O5-8

The O5 members who the rings belong to can chose to give the rings away to any member of the foundation with Level 3 clearance or above.
On the death of any Non-O5 member whilst with the ring on their person, the body is to be found, the Emerald in the ring shattered, and O5 is to be informed.
If the ring does not rematerialize in the next 3 days then all members of O5 are to be taken to [REDACTED].
They will stay in this location until the ring rematerializes.

Description:
SCP-XXXX appears to be a set of 4 emerald rings, of a reasonably fashionable style. The rings consist of 1.5g of silver plated with 18k white gold. At the center of each ring is an emerald 3mm x 3mm in size.
The rings were given to the foundation as a gift, on Christmas day 2018 a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc was recovered from under the Christmas tree of four of the O5 Members. On each of the bottles was a note which read:

To The SCP Foundation,

A gift to help contain the uncontainable.

From The Infinity Collection

After being checked for poison, the bottles were drunk by O5 collectively.
All of which remarked it was the best Sauvignon Blanc they had ever drunk.
Once each had drained their glass a ring materialized in O5-1, O5-3, O5-7, and O5-8 glasses.

When O5-1, O5-3, O5-7, or O5-8 were there ring they gain a sense of connection to any other’s who have ever worn one of the rings for more than 2 hours, the more time one wears a ring the more connected they become to the others.
The rings create almost a hive mind, but in an unconventional sense, that is to say, that they are not controlled by the hive but they can sense each other fear, and or when that person dies.
However when someone connected to the rings does die it induces immense paranoia, which clouds the judgment of the O5 ring bearers, giving them the uncontrollable urge to avenge their death in any way shape or form, for 3 days.

If someone dies whilst wearing the ring it will try to rematerialize
