Special Containment Procedures: Currently, only 10% of SCP-5024 has been explored by Foundation personnel. Personnel are to venture into SCP-5024 to keep control of the area. Due to the mass amount of SCP-5024-2 instances and Incident 5024-A, expeditions are to be done by rover or drone, though any personnel venturing into SCP-5024 are to be equipped with a biohazard Suit, an M1 Garand, and multiple tanks of oxygen. Personnel are not to venture into SCP-5024 unless given permission by O5-1.
Anyone wondering into the concentration camp are to be incapacitated and given Class-A amnestics. They are to be released with no memory of the concentration camp.
Due to Incident 5024-A, personnel planning to venture into SCP-5024 are to be in groups of seventy-five (75) personnel to defend against instances of SCP-5024-2.
Description: SCP-5024 is a 1:1 replica of the Auschwitz Concentration Camp that was used during World War II. SCP-5024 is located under the camp itself. As with the original, SCP-5024 contains a complex of over forty (40) concentration and extermination camps. The main gate has the line “ARBEIT MACHT FREI”, which in English means “WORK MAKES FREE”, though the phrase can change at any given time.
The main Auschwitz Concentration Camp was contained by the SCP Foundation with permission from the German government.
SCP-5024 is surrounded by a toxic fog that covers the whole interior of SCP-5024 and its complex. Samples of the fog were collected and have been analyzed. The fog, now designated as SCP-5024-1, has massive amounts of cyanide, mercury, and botulinum toxins. Breathing in SCP-5024-1 will cause the body to rot in very fast speeds. Within five (5) minutes, the host will die.
Like Auschwitz, SCP-5024 is staffed by what looks like seven thousand (7,000) members of the German Schutzstaffel. They are designated as SCP-5024-2. Whenever someone is spotted by an instance of SCP-5024-2, fifty (50) SCP-5024-2 instances chase down the person and the person is shot.
SCP-5024-2 instances have been shown to venture outside SCP-5024 itself.
Addendum - Incident 5024-A: Expeditions into SCP-5024 have ended in ███ deaths of Foundation personnel. The SCP-5024-2 instances have been seen to march out of SCP-5024 and have attacked Site-██. Object Class has been updated to Keter. Special Containment Procedures updated.
