Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5834 is to be contained within a 1 m x 1 m x 1 m low temperature airtight steel cube at all times, Unit-██ at Area-██. Temperatures are not to exceed 4°C. The cube is be handled with extreme care and daily checks for any form of cracks or holes are mandatory. The cell is under video surveillance at all times and laser detectors are installed inside it to ensure the presence of SCP-5834. The chamber is connected to a standalone ventilation system that is to be closed down in the event of a containment breach. Under no circumstances is the ventilation system of SCP-5834’s containment area to be connected with the main ventilation systems of the facility.
Description: SCP-5834 is a gas-like entity of unknown origin. The entity is capable of possessing humans by entering their body and will use them as hosts as it is only able to move by itself. SCP-5834 mainly use the airways or eyes to enter the body of living humans. Once SCP-5834 has entered the body, the subject will enter a state of coma and instantly become an instance of SCP-5834-1.
SCP-5834-1 is a humanoid entity overrun by- and used as a host for SCP-5834. The entity is capable of telekinetic abilities, teleportation, conjuration, resurrection, regeneration and immortality. There are no known limitations to the abilities of the entity. However, SCP-5834 can be temporarily paralysed by direct contact with SCP-5132 and instances of SCP-5834-1 can be incapacitated by high doses of SCP-5132 or using bullets injected with SCP-5132. Once SCP-5834-1 has been incapacitated, SCP-5834-1 will be terminated using ████, forcing SCP-5834 to exit its body. Staff recontaining SCP-5834 is to be wearing a airtight bioharazd suit, commonly used when handling radioactive material.
Due to the possibility of extreme structural damage to the containment areas of other SCP subjects, breach of Foundation secrecy and great civilian loss of life, the termination of SCP-5834-1 instances is considered Alpha priority.
Addendum 5834.1: SCP-5834 is thought to be a male, as it is showing musculine-like behaviour and seems to prefer male humans over female ones to use as hosts.
