Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5829 must always be contained in it's 15m x 15m x 15m cell located at Site-███, its cell should always be kept at around 19° Celsius, with artificial ventilation and should be fed 2.26 kilograms of meat each day [Like a normal wolf's diet] preferably meat from its natural habitat on ████████. Access is restricted to any personal of level 2 or lower.
In case of a breach, SCP-5829 should be brought back by using bait and guiding it over to its containment cell. Fear is not a method of choice as it may result in casualties.
Description: SCP-5829 looks and acts as a gray wolf. But, when it feels threatened or is attacked, it will start to loudly howl, "appearing" illusions of itself, although the illusions by themselves are harmless, the actual wolf can change between the illusions, creating confusion and probable injuries.
When the illusions are "killed" they will simply drop to the ground and start to fade away until they are no longer seen, to stop 5829 from calling illutions it must be prevented from howling either by putting something around its mouth or by giving it food.
Multiple attempts to try to communicate with it have failed, as he will either start to engage or flee, the only successful attempt to socialize with 5829 was with other wolves although after some time 5829 also fled from them, most evidence pointing that he is not a very social creature.
When SCP-5829 was first found there where two of them but when placed in confinement they ravaged each other, a direction on the carcass showed that they have full body systems as a normal mammal would, the only difference being that some organs where on different locations to that of a wolf. Further studies have determined that both SCPs that where encountered are (or where) female.
SCP-5829 was first found in ██████ but fled, until weeks later it was found roaming around Site-████, the site in which the anomaly is currently being held on.
Little is known about the illusions, specially where they come from remains a mystery.
