Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be contained in an airtight unit, with a functional airlock at the entrance/exit. If SCP-XXXX goes too long without sustenance, it will begin to emit its toxins much stronger and in larger amounts, up to the point that even a top-grade gas mask will not serve as a proper filter. As such, SCP-XXXX requires feeding of approximately 90.7 kg of dead flesh1 every 14 days. Should for any reason SCP-XXXX go without feeding for more than 14 days, no less than two level 2 containment personnel, equipped with WHO-approved airtight safety apparatuses, shall enter the containment unit and feed SCP-XXXX as normal.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a mass of the once-dead flesh of its victims, its observable surface covered in many large fleshy holes2, ranging from 0.5 m to 1.7 m in diameter. If an observer continues inside a hole, SCP-XXXX will shift its form, moving the holes that were once behind the observer to in front of them, making it seem like an endless tunnel. In reality, the observer could simply walk out a hole directly behind them and be out of the ‘maze’, however, SCP-XXXX emits a harmless yet powerful toxin that convinces the observer that the only means of escape is to persist forward. This will cause an unaware observer to continue aimlessly into SCP-XXXX, and eventually become too exhausted to continue and die, at which point SCP-XXXX will absorb the corpse. SCP-XXXX will only absorb dead flesh, and occasionally [REDACTED]. A definite reason for this infrequent break in diet has yet to be found.
Addendum: Flesh produced by SCP-4146 may be used in the feeding of SCP-XXXX, although a prolonged diet of this may result in SCP-XXXX becoming slightly more [DATA EXPUNGED], as shown by initial testing on ██/██/████. SCP-XXXX should not, under any circumstances, be fed flesh infected with SCP-610, as the infection will spread as it does on any other living beings, and kill SCP-XXXX.
