Scp Tale Proposal
Pluto always has and always will be our enemy. It watches us and it hates, it covets. When Pluto’s skin peeled open thousands of years ago and released the leviathan, we knew that we were threatened, and that suffering approached. An ungodly sight that we all saw and acknowledged as judgement itself sent our world into chaos, with the entirety of our empire panicking, dividing, and fighting over things so trivial. The leviathan was coming and it willed our demise, so the five fathers, the greatest leaders humanity knew, pooled their power and their influence to construct a weapon, a defender, a dreadnought. So proud we were when it was completed in all it’s terrific glory, proud of our colossal machine that represented every bit of war and determination humanity was capable of. With courage of gods we watched as it tore away from the sky and set out on it’s crusade for our safety, it was our salvation we knew so surely that nothing could stand against it. As it left our orbit to wage it’s war, we began to finally live again, humans felt peace and security once more as a united people. Soon enough we heard from our warship that it was nearing the leviathan, so eagerly we set our eyes above, to watch our champion crush it’s opponent. After a matter of days the heavens lit up like nothing we had witnessed before, as two beasts clashed and warred without mercy upon each other on The planet named Trius, the ninth planet. For years we watched the glorious battle, and it seemed we were winning like we had always predicted, until the leviathan finally let loose it’s breath, which tore Trius apart and threw our dreadnought out into the stars, far from our reach. Our hope was tested in those moments, as even though the battle was over, we knew we hadn’t stopped the leviathan for ever. As Trius fell the leviathan, crippled as it was, crashed upon Neptune where we suspect it now sleeps. In their wisdom, the five fathers knew this intermission would one day end, and that the populous of Earth would begin to panic again, and because the five fathers were not willing to let their children divide again, they made us forget. The world as we knew it was reset, with humanity starting again in blissful ignorance of Pluto’s monster. However the day will come when the fathers unite us again to face our only real enemie’s hound of destruction. So as our machine floats through deep space, and as our scourge slumbers in the depths of Neptune, we can enjoy existence for a little longer before must take up our swords once more and prove ourselves for the last time, in the face of the ever encroaching leviathan. For rest assured, it will wake.
