Item #: SCP-xxxx
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
Due to the observed nature of SCP-xxxx, containment is relatively simple and has been tasked to Mobile Task Force Psi-7. A perimeter fence, no less than 3 meters high, and no less sturdy than an industrial chain link design, shall surround SCP-xxxx. The fence shall be topped with industrial razor wire. At no place along the perimeter, shall the fence be closer than 6 meters to the outer wall of the structure of SCP-xxxx. A security patrol should be conducted at random times; at least three times, daily. Any breach of the fence or changes to the outer walls of SCP-xxxx should be reported and investigated with the proper resources. Due to the observed immobility of SCP-xxxx, more severe containment has not been deemed necessary due to the threat posed by SCP-xxxx only affecting living organisms who enter its structure. Baring entry, standard security doors and locks of high grade, but common construction have been ordered. All low windows shall either be replaced with glass bricks, or be fitted with security bars. The intent being to keep the curious or mischievous civilian residents of the area out of the main structure without creating a lure of mystery.
Description:
SCP-xxxx lies on a 25 acre parcel of land, located in █████ ██████, Michigan. The outer walls are primarily made of reinforced concrete and brick, with a flat roof and block design. The interior is steel framed and industrial in nature. Equipment for the manufacture of automotive parts, primarily door latch and locking mechanisms, is housed within and laid out in an assembly line fashion. Offices, restrooms, storage, staging, warehouse, and shipping dock facilities are also peasant along side the primary factory floor. The building was previously owned and operated by ████████ ██████████.
Upon entry to SCP-xxxx, the previously silent and un-powered building will begin to turn on it's lights and activate machinery on the factory floor, as if normal working operations had begun for the day. Even with no personnel in the building, and no automation features installed within the building, lights in offices will turn on, pluming will operate normally, and the factory floor will begin its automated functions.
Subjects who enter the factory floor and who are not observed directly by another person will inevitably have an “accident” in the form of being pulled, falling, or becoming trapped within the machinery of the factory. Death is always instantaneous. It has been discovered that automotive parts, now designated SCP-xxxx-1, housed within the warehouse are manufactured of bone, sinew, and tanned leather. Testing has determined that the raw materials for SCP-xxxx-1 came from human bodies. It has not been discovered how the parts are packaged and transported to the warehouse.
No further testing is currently authorized and requires the written authorization and direct supervision of a site director with no less than level 4 clearance.
Addendum xxxxA:
After local authorities were alerted to the initial missing person reports pertaining to workers employed by ████████ ██████████, it was discovered that only one survivor of the initial incident was alive and unconscious within the warehouse area of SCP-xxxx. The apparent human female, designated SCP-xxxx-2, refers to herself as “Glory ██████████” and claims to have worked at the factory. There is no record of anyone by that name having been employed by ███████ ██████████. During initial interviews, SCP-xxxx-2 revealed relationships to several people in the area and recalled the events surrounding the initial incident in a jumbled, multi-perspective, and non-linear fashion. None of the people mentioned by SCP-xxxx-2 seemed to know anyone by her name or description. When questioned on the subject of her consistent, but erratic, recall of the incident, she became insistent that her recall of the event was accurate and that she did know the people she mentioned. SCP-xxxx-2 will be housed at USALBC Site-88, until further notice. Any further revelations about the events occurring at SCP-xxxx or other assistance provided by SCP-xxxx-2 should be evaluated by the site director before being acted upon.
