Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is a phenomenon currently contained in an apartment bedroom currently located in [DATA EXPUNGED], Philippines. It has been been retrofitted with a steel-reinforced soundproofed chamber with SCP-XXXX-2 at the middle, with at least one window. The windows should covered with a one-way mirror film and be provided with a UL Level 10 bulletproof glass. A person needs to have slept inside the room at least once in order to allow SCP-XXXX to manifest within the chamber. Any type of seat that could sit at least two people should be placed in the proper viewing angles usually provided in the specifications of SCP-XXXX-2. Two cameras with audio feed should be installed to monitor personnel within the containment chamber in a location behind SCP-XXXX-2. An interrupted power supply will be provided to the room at all times. All other rooms within a 20-meter radius around this room should be made sure that the criteria is not met.

All reflective surfaces that would allow security personnel using the camera to look at SCP-XXXX-2 should be fully covered or removed from the containment chamber. All electronic devices with the ability to receive an Emergency Alert System notification (such as mobile phones) should also be removed upon entering SCP-XXXX-1.

At least two Class-D personnel that is able to read and speak in English should always remain within premises of SCP-XXXX-1 while looking at SCP-XXXX-2 starting from 0100H and 0500H with respect to the timezone where SCP-XXXX-1 is currently located. The following rules should be followed by participants in the room:

Rules:

  • Read out messages given by SCP-XXXX-2.
  • Close your eyes when you hear the beep during Phase 3.
  • Give the monitoring personnel signals to indicate which Phase is currently happening inside the room.

In the event that a personnel looking at SCP-XXXX-2 fails, a new Class-D personnel should replace that person and be ordered to read out SCP-XXXX-2's messages for remainder of the the phases.

In the event that both personnel fails, Mobile Task Force Alpha-4 will be notified to keep an eye out for SCP-XXXX.

Individuals that were able to read the screen and understand the message of SCP-XXXX-2 will be immediately restrained for the remainder of the phenomena.

Class-D personnel that survives Phase 2 will be debriefed and then, at their own discretion, be provided with Class-B amnestics should they wish for one. All individuals that saw the screen without entering SCP-XXXX-1 are considered infected and will be injected with a Class-C amnestic, and sent to another facility. Termination is also authorized if infected personnel starts to cause harm to individuals involved in the containment procedure. All remains, if any, of Class-D personnel [DATA EXPUNGED] by SCP-XXXX-3 will be removed from the room.

Description: SCP-XXXX refers to a phenomena that occurs in an area that meets the following criteria.

  • A person has slept or is sleeping inside the room.
  • A window that could visibly see the scene outside the room.
  • A device that could receive a television channel of an Emergency Alert System.
  • No more than 2 people are inside the room.

The SCP will manifest itself in a room by displaying or receiving an EAS notification to all devices inside which can start at any point from 1AM to 5AM. Then the following phases have started to happen:

Phases:

  1. : All devices will receive an alert notification. Lasts for 30 seconds.
  2. : A series of messages will appear on screen. Lasts for 59 minutes and 30 seconds.
  3. : The message "Close your eyes when you hear the beep" will start to appear. Last for 2 to 40 minutes.

All individuals inside the room while watching SCP-XXXX-2 during phase 2 will experience an episode of being "severely haunted by ghosts". Survivors describe a silhouette appearing on the window that disappears at the end of the manifestation. Also, all sorts of stomping, scratching and howling are heard by the participants. However, there were no recorded video or audio that proves these incidents. Security guards posted around the perimeter are unaware of these manifestations.

Phase 3 will start to happen when a personnel fails Phase 2 or opens their eyes during Phase 3.

SCP-XXXX-3 will immediately [DATA EXPUNGED] all individuals that fails at any point during the phases.

Personnel that were able to see the screen of SCP-XXXX-2 would immediately start to exhibit extreme psychosis. After a few seconds, the infected individual will start to calm down then proceed to enter SCP-XXXX-1 and [DATA EXPUNGED] individuals watching SCP-XXXX-2's messages.

It has also been discovered that those who could not read English is unaffected by looking at the screen of SCP-XXXX-2.
