Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1318 is to be retained within its primary position, located at [REDACTED], United States of America. The site containing SCP-1318 is to be disguised as a public warehouse. Foundation personnel on-site are to be disguised as warehouse security guards and employees. Any individual attempting to break into the containment compound of SCP-1318 is to be detained in a fashion similar to ordinary warehouse staff to minimize suspicion. Class A amnestics are to be administered if an encounter is made with SCP-1318 during said incident.

All personnel assigned to SCP-1318 must rotate out for one month of psychological counseling after two months on-site. Personnel assigned to SCP-1318 must undergo heavy psychological testing before being cleared to enter the site. Individuals must score at least 72 points on the Milgram Obedience Examination, be unmarried, have no offspring, and express nothing less than total loyalty to the Foundation.

While on-site, individuals assigned to SCP-1318 will be issued concealing helmets with integrated voice changers to protect their identity. On-site staff are not to remove said uniforms in the presence of other staff members. Off-duty hours are to be spent in private quarters alone.

A Class D Personnel that has recently committed any action of misconduct is to be assigned to SCP-1318 each month for the purposes of carrying out Procedure 330-Arkoe.¹ Following the procedure, all Class D Personnel must return to their holding cells or explosive collars will be detonated.

Description: SCP-1318 is inferred to be an ███████ ████████ between ██ and ██ years of age, possessing an average height and build. The apparel worn by SCP-1318 consists of standard workwear including a tool apron and a cap with [DATA EXPUNGED] imprinted on the front.² The Foundation became aware of the existence of SCP-1318 during ██/██/20██ when reports of "a crazy-ass [DATA EXPUNGED] beating his son" and "this dude really bodied all his coworkers" rose awareness. MTF Lambda-5 ("White Rabbits") was dispatched to assess the situation, resulting in ██ casualties and the near emergence of a ██████████ event. All civilians within the surrounding township of [REDACTED] were given class A amnestics after the successful containment of SCP-1318.

SCP-1318 is an indiscriminately hostile entity, possessing traits of a Class V Reality Bender. When faced with any living human that may be experiencing guilt from any misdemeanor³, SCP-1318 will engage the individual and proceed to [DATA EXPUNGED]. Those who are devoid of guilt will simply be ignored by SCP-1318.⁴ SCP-1318 typically roams within an interior section of the compound, which it tends to stay within due to Procedure-330 Arkoe. Any change in behavior should be reported to Site Director ██████ as soon as possible. After not encountering any guilt-ridden individuals for █ weeks, SCP-1318 will attempt to wander outside of its typical perimeter until it perceives any living human that satisfies its conditions of engagement.⁵ Due to the absence of any hunger or thirst from SCP-1318, it's assumed that SCP-1318 feeds off of [DATA EXPUNGED].

During actual engagement, SCP-1318 will materialize a wooden rod approximately 1 m long in its right hand, which SCP-1318 refers to as its "beatin' stick". This wooden rod is officially classified as SCP-1318-2. While SCP-1318 has demonstrated not being entirely dependent on SCP-1318-2 to [DATA EXPUNGED], SCP-1318 will use it in a standard encounter. SCP-1318-2 will dematerialize after SCP-1318 has finished engaging.

Reports of post SCP-1318 encounters include mental instability, death, and [DATA EXPUNGED]. In rare cases, individuals will demonstrate a sudden change of personality, including politeness, obedience, and acting courteous.

Addendum 1: Procedure 330-Arkoe: Procedure 330-Arkoe is a method of maintaining containment that is to be carried out at 19:00. Personnel must prioritize themselves to make sure that Procedure 330-Arkoe is done at this time and this time alone. Performing Procedure 330-Arkoe requires the following:

• Two armed Foundation security personnel with Security Clearance of Level 3 or higher (hereafter referred to as "guards").
• One Class D Personnel, as specified under Special Containment Procedures (hereafter referred to as "punishee.")

1. Guards escort punishee to the interior section of the site where the perimeter of SCP-1318 is known to be located
2. Once punishee has been reported to have entered the perimeter, guards will order punishee to seek out a specific item⁶ supposedly warehoused in the perimeter.
3. After approximately 10-15 minutes, punishee and SCP-1318 will encounter each other. At this point, Procedure 330-Arkoe is deemed complete.

Failure to complete Procedure 330-Arkoe properly may result in a containment breach and a ██████████ event. Should any mishap or failure occur, guards are to return immediately. The Site will be immediately locked down, and a Level Two Emergency declared and reported to the O5 Council. Further instructions will be provided to on-site personnel according to Emergency Order █████████.

Addendum 2: Incident-1318-A: On █/█/20██, Prodecure 330-Arkoe has failed to undergo due to disorderly actions of a Class-D personnel. SCP-1318 departed from the compound towards the town of ███████. MTF Lambda 5 ("White Rabbits") was dispatched to seek and recontain SCP-1318. Recorded footage from shoulder cameras revealed the widespread destruction of structures and facilities. Civilians were seen running in panic, seemingly away from a common source. SCP-1318 was eventually identified [DATA EXPUNGED] an adolescent using SCP-1318-2.⁷ The process of recontaining SCP-1318 resulted in ██ casualties and ███ injuries. Changes have been made to the document of SCP-1318 following the incident.

I think we can all learn something from this skip. Under all of that malevolence and reality bending gobbledygook, it just wants us to be on our best behavior. Besides, we could use some healthy hospitality around here. So when you're assigned to 1318, don't be afraid to do a good turn daily. Make the thing know that you're the best 'you' you can be. -O5-█
