Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP 4000 must be kept in a normal humanoid containment room, resembling a middle school locker room, where no staff can enter due to the effects of SCP 4000.
Description: SCP 4000 is held at site 18 and is of level two clearance. A small locker with a fading grey tint due to age with a number of 487, with the names of its victims written on it. Names include REDACTED. The locker is unable to move, and does not appear sentient, but upon further inspection, has taken test show spikes in activity. The object has been the cause of over REDACTED deaths. The object has the tendency to cause organisms around it to become suicidal, along with hallucinations of REDACTED. Although hard to open, if done, will cause the subject that opened it to have the sudden urge to kill, they will then be known as SCP 4000-1. One instance of SCP 4000-1 was a group of 5 7th graders who all opened the locker together, causing the anomalous effect to make all of them fight each other to the death, the victor committed suicide due to the grief of killing his colleagues. Has been used on D-class personnel to the same effect.
