Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 5m by 5m by 5m enclosure made from 3cm thick bullet proof glass at all times. There is to be a small 12cm wide hatch located at the bottom of the enclosure which should be kept shut unless there is an interview in which case the hatch should be left open. Two armed guards are to be posted 1m either side of the hatch. the glass container is to be placed inside a reinforced concrete room with a 10cm thick titanium blastdoor at the front of the room. SCP-XXXX is to be surveyed at all times by CCTV cameras posted at each corner. A stack of 10 pieces of A4 paper is to be placed inside the glass container every 2 weeks. No personnel under level 4 are allowed in the containment unit.
Description: SCP-XXXX is approximately 1.6m tall and is covered in a thick black fur like substance apart from the head and forelimbs which are pure white. SCP-XXXX head resembles the shape of a birds beak and appears to be made from paper that has been compressed together. SCP-XXXX has four eye sockets located on its head that appear to be full of an ink like substance mixed with human blood. SCP-XXXX sits in a cat like stance for most of the day and will get up to write. SCP-XXXX has 2 rows of teeth that closely resemble that of a sharks which are coated in the same substance that resides in the eye sockets of SCP-XXXX. this substance shall hence fourth be known as SCP-XXXX-1.
When SCP-XXXX is in its active state it shall take one of the pieces of paper provided, using 3 digit hands that reside in its mouth (number of hands can vary) and shall then excrete SCP-XXXX-1 from its mouth and eyes on to the piece of paper. the liquid will begin to evaporate quickly and after 30 seconds will have completely disappeared leaving words on the paper which will be known as SCP-XXXX-2. Words can vary from being in another language to being in another font. This has lead researchers to believe that SCP-XXXX has a clear understanding of every language, even extinct ones from thousands of years ago. This has helped decipher many ancient languages. what is written on SCP-XXXX-2 can include;
- asking for more paper
- quoting famous literature
- talking about his favourite book (Charles Dickens: Oliver Twist)
- talking about his favourite author (Charles Dickens)
- asking to see Shakespeare because he has a cool idea
From this researchers believe that SCP-XXXX has the knowledge of every piece of literature written by man and has influenced many famous book/plays. SCP-XXXX has been shown to respond to questions asked by personnel through this method.
SCP-XXXX has shown to rarely display tendencies of extreme aggression and violence towards staff members, and has been seen breaking though solid titanium in these periods. In these periods SCP-XXXX can spit an acidic version of SCP-XXXX-1 known as SCP-XXXX-1-A that can appear to melt any solid matter but will quickly evaporate. When SCP-XXXX is in its aggressive state it will fanatically run around, killing personnel as well as causing major structural damage. Personnel are advised to run as far away as possible. The only way SCP-XXXX can be halted is if a personnel (usually a D-class) reads a copy of Charles Dickens: Oliver Twist to SCP-XXXX. After around 5 minutes of reading, SCP-XXXX will cease its rampage and fall into a deep sleep and shall be transported back to its containment unit.
It is unknown why SCP-XXXX does this, but one theories state that SCP-XXXX might become enraged when it recollects about a tragic event in a book.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX was captured when a museum staff member found SCP-XXXX reading some of Shakespeare writing that was on display. The foundation what contacted and SCP-XXXX was captured and contained with minimal effort.
