Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be sealed in a standard humanoid containment cell. The cell is to be sterilised and constantly monitored for SCP-XXXX’s movements. If SCP-XXXX is or needs to be moved it is to be executed by a mechanical crane located at the top of the cell. All instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be terminated on sight to prevent SCP-XXXX’s wandering zone from expanding. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 can be terminated if left in a pool of hydrochloric acid for several day. There is to be strictly no access to SCP-XXXX to anyone.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity approximately 2m in height. SCP-XXXX has no discernible facial features except for a small 5mm wide hole located where the mouth would be. SCP-XXXX’s skin is made entirely of iron oxide (rust). SCP-XXXX has been shown to rarely move and only wanders in an area of 3m. SCP-XXXX travels by warping in and out of a pocket dimension known as DMSN-47A. It is unknown how this occurs.
Samples have shown that this skin is 2cm thick. SCP-XXXX has no discernible organs but is filled with SCP-XXXX-A. SCP-XXXX-A is a turquois coloured substance made of an unknown element known by personnel as Abnormalium. SCP-XXXX-A has a consistency like butter. SCP-XXXX-A has the potential if held to become any element the holder thinks of. It is still unknown how this process happens.
If any living organic matter is to come within 2m of SCP-XXXX it will be converted into the same substances that make up SCP-XXXX skin and innards. Those who are converted (SCP-XXXX-1) will begin to act the same way as SCP-XXXX. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be terminated immediately. SCP-XXXX and instances of SCP-XXXX-1 have the ability to travel into each other’s wandering zone. Tests have shown that there is a 1/10 of SCP-XXXX-1-A occurring. SCP-XXXX-1-A is [DATA REDACTED] and should be prepared for a potential XK-class extinction event.
__Test A - 10/4/2011_
Subject: D-3348, wanted for 5 accounts of murder
Procedure: D-3348 was placed inside SCP-XXXX containment cell and was instructed to approach SCP-XXXX
Results: D-3348 was quickly converted into SCP-XXXX-1
Analysis: SCP-XXXX can convert organisms quickly
__**Test B – 12/4/2011
Subject: D-8457, wanted for 2 accounts of murder, 1 account of domestic abuse
Procedure: D-8457 was placed inside SCP-XXXX containment cell and was instructed to approach SCP-XXXX
Results: D-8457 was converted into SCP-XXXX-1-A and [DATA REDACTED]
Analysis:kill them! Kill them right fucking now!
__**Test C – 15/4/2011
Procedure: A rover was placed inside SCP-XXXX containment cell and was instructed to clump on to SCP-XXXX’s right leg
Results: The rover was transported into DMSN-47A and was instructed to look around. The rover was shown to be in a room that was filled entirely with other instances of SCP-XXXX, but after around 30 seconds the video feed cut off.
Analysis: [DATA REDACTED]
Addendum: SCP-XXXX was discovered in a storage unit located on a shipwreck off the coast of [DATA REDACTED], after many reports of missing divers occurred. An MTF team was sent down to investigate which led to the loss of 3 members. After discovering SCP-XXXX’S properties, deep see rovers were used to retrieve SCP-XXXX and instances of SCP-XXXX-1 were terminated.
Addendum Test B: during testing an instance of SCP-XXXX-1-A occurred and [DATA REDACTED] which led to the deaths of 25 personnel before the instance was terminated.
