SCP-XXXX

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be held in research cell 326-C, a firing range with one lane and one guard on duty at all times. SCP-XXXX is to be held in a custom gun case marked "SCP-XXXX". At no time should any foreign materials come into contact with the magazine loading port of SCP-XXXX when not testing. SCP-XXXX is only to be fired by personnel with class 3 clearance and approval from site command, with at least one guard occupancy them for the entirety of testing. A list of tests to be carried out must be given to guard all guard personnel on duty; any deviation from this list will result in refused entry to research cell 326-C.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a ███ █████ ████ 20 gauge Bolt action shotgun that can hold 5 shells in its magazine. It was originally recovered in █████, Tasmania after a mandatory gun buyback program in 20██ and was attempted to be disassembled. Shortly after the disassembly SCP-XXXX began to vibrate and hiss. Approximately 3.4 seconds later SCP-XXXX violently imploded leading to the deaths of █ people. SCP-XXXX was found reassembled after the incident.

SCP-XXXX, when used with any 20-gauge shell ammunition, shows no abnormal properties besides the safety switch of the Weapon not functioning and fires like a regular 20-gauge bolt action shotgun. However, when SCP-XXXX's magazine loading port is opened, and a foreign object is placed with in the loading port the object is "pulled" into SCP-XXXX's magazine, regardless of whether the object should fit or not. SCP-XXXX's will not accept any objects if the magazine loading port is within any direct eye contact. If an object has been "pulled" into SCP-XXXX and the bolt is pulled back a 20-gauge shell with the name of the object will come into the loading port. If this shell is fired with the safety off small pieces of the original object will come out of the barrel of SCP-XXXX. If the shell if fired with the safety on, an object related to the original object will come out of SCP-XXXX's barrel at a low velocity. Attempts to fire shells made by SCP-XXXX from other firearms results in the shell failing to detonate. It appears that if an object exiting the barrel of SCP-XXXX is too large, it will come out small and grow to regular size.

If SCP-XXXX is minimally damaged, once leaving direct eye contact it will repair itself with no trace of damage. If part of SCP-XXXX breaks it will begin to hiss and vibrate for as long as it remains in direct eye contact, getting louder and more intense the longer it is seen. Once out of direct eye contact SCP-XXXX will stop hissing and vibrating and will repair itself. This is most likely SCP-XXXX's way of self-preservation.
