Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be held in a humanoid containment cell and observed under surveillance cameras at all time. Outside of testing, SCP-XXXX is not allowed access to any drawing or writing materials.

SCP-XXXX is allowed a radio with Foundation-selected music and a guitar for morale purposes.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a 17-year-old human female formerly named Laurie Von Goethe. SCP-XXXX is affected by an anomalous effect that alters the contents of artwork it creates to include and feature characters and locations from the TV show Euphony Bright: Grand Symphony!1. SCP-XXXX-A instances are usually static, usually portrayed as partaking in leisurely activities, however, they are able to instantly change to different poses and expressions and have shown the ability to spatially translocate themselves in different locations in the painting. SCP-XXXX-A instances have also demonstrated the ability to manipulate the contents of the artwork, and are observed to use this ability to change the contents of artworks to be more lighthearted in tone and atmosphere.

SCP-XXXX-A instances have SCP-XXXX-A instances usually manifest at the back before making their way forward (though some instances, notably SCP-XXXX are able to alter their position in artwork when not in the focus of SCP-XXXX's perception. SCP-XXXX-A instances also display an ability to communicate through the manifestation of written words around their body and appear to be able to perceive SCP-XXXX's emotions and movements and hear SCP-XXXX. However, SCP-XXXX-A instances do not appear to be able to perceive other subjects, responding only to SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX-A instances appear to be led by six instances of SCP-XXXX-A instances who, based on the info given by SCP-XXXX-A, resemble prominent characters of fanart and fanfiction stories that it had created for the TV show Euphony Bright: Grand Symphony!. These SCP-XXXX-A instances (henceforth labeled as SCP-XXXXX-A1 to A6) often manifest in prominent locations in artwork, communicating with SCP-XXXX by manifesting words around themselves. All communications from SCP-XXXX-A1 - A6 to SCP-XXXX consists of questions towards SCP-XXXX for its reason for ceasing production of Euphony Bright: Grand Symphony! fanwork, as well as attempts to convince SCP-XXXX to resume production of fanwork of Euphony Bright: Grand Symphony!. In rare cases, SCP-XXXXX-A1 - A6 will accuse SCP-XXXX of 'being selfish' and 'abandoning its creations to die'. SCP-XXXX-A seems to possess no awareness of any entities except for SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX was discovered when it posted a video on its Youtube account (titled 'Cursed by Euphony Bright, and they will not leave me alone!') where it displayed its anomaly. The video was deleted, and 2300 viewers were tracked down and amnesticized. SCP-XXXX was subsequently taken into containment.

Addendum 01: Interview Log

Interviewed: SCP-XXXX

Interviewer: Dr. Zuo Meng

<Begin Log>

Dr. Meng: Good morning, SCP-XXXX. Are you ready for your interview?

SCP-XXXX: Hey there, Doctor. Let me guess: I'm in some Men in Black holding cell, and I'm just a number here, right?

Dr. Meng: Well…

SCP-XXXX: (sighs) Eh, I should have expected this. I read stories of organizations like yours, I doubt I am the only freak here. In fact, I might as well hanged a big red target on my head with that video of mine. So, let me guess, this is all about those Harmoicans, right?

Dr. Meng: Yes, SCP-XXXX. Could you please tell me when your anomalous abilities first manifested?

SCP-XXXX sighs and puts its head down in its right hand.

SCP-XXXX: It's a long story, Doctor, but it all started when I…. when I…

SCP-XXXX displays discomfort, and crosses its arms, while looking halfway towards the left.
SCP-XXXX: Crimmie.

Dr. Meng: Who's Crimmie?

SCP-XXXX: (sighs) Queen Crimson, as she preferred. Friend of mine. Moriyona Crimmie, because she dyed her hair red. Real nice girl, was a real firecracker at times. We met at the start of high school, and soon, we became friends. It was she who had introduced me to Euphony Bright .

Dr. Meng: Euphony Bright? Isn't that the…

SCP-XXXX: (sighs) Watched the first episode per her recommendation. I loved it immediately. Loved Euphonia Pleasant: we were both aspiring artists with big dreams, she wants to compose the Symphony of Harmony, and I want to be comic artist. And Operetto2… Chopinette's my darling! Liked how she learned to find her confidence, liked how she learned to find her hope! From cynical and depressed loner to a daring warrior ready to take on Satan itself to protect those she love and care for! And she did basically face down what was basically kid-friendly Satan to buy her friend Euphonia time to compose the Tune of Light. Malchord, right, you know him? And talking of Malchord, how could I forget Sola Wolfgang? I especially adore his character development, he's one of the best-written characters in the show. From goalless waster, angry at everything he sees, to…

Dr. Meng: SCP-XXXX, please! Focus!

SCP-XXXX: Oh, sorry, it's just that I, well, I have a tendency to get lost in my own stories sometimes. And recollections of my time in the Harmoigang3… it's just… what happened? How does life take such a sudden left turn on icy roads?

Dr. Meng: Do you want to continue on about the origin of your anomalous abilities, SCP-XXXX?

SCP-XXXX: I loved that show. I drew lots of fanart for it. Created a fan club for it with Crimmie and Clover, it was just us three because the rest of my friends simply could not get into the show, but it was still fun. And my OCs: created who knows how many fan characters for that show. There was Lyrica Varnish, she was Euphonia's cousin. And Johannesse, High Spark Deer like Chopinette. And Hot Notes, a jazz-playing Songbird. But you probably don't want to know all that, do you? Anyway, to long didn't read, I had a lot of fun in the fandom: sharing fanart with friends and others online, chatting up with my fellow artists, asking for critiques from Crimmie and talking of who the best girl is with Clover. Lots and lots of fun, best times in high school. That was, until one day…

SCP-XXXX looks down.

SCP-XXXX: Crimmie killed herself.

Dr. Meng: Oh? I am sorry to hear that.

SCP-XXXX: The signs… I should have known, it was so freaking obvious! Depression, skipping of classes, sudden loss of interest in Euphony Bright or her usually well-kept hair… why didn't I do something? Why?! I should have inquired more, not just take her word of mere stress! We were supposed to be graduating together, me and Clover and Crimmie and all of us! I could have saved her… I let her die…. I let her…

Dr. Meng: I know that it must be very hard on you to have to go through the suicide of your best friend? Do you need me to give you a few…

SCP-XXXX: No, Doctor…. I can do this. Anyway, the days after Crimmie's suicide was pretty grim: I was in the darkest places, and so were my friends. Poor Clover, she was hurt the most…
