Description

SCP-5144 is an average-looking Ruger Precision Rifle. When the scope is used, the
shot will always miss somewhere between 5cm(2in) and 2m(6.6ft) away from the target. When the
scope is not used, the shot will always hit where you intend.

History

In Wichita, Kansas, popular Youtuber Ryan “RyanRGunReview” Robtack ordered a rifle off
armslist.com for one of his videos.

While he was filming the original video, he noticed that his aim was greatly off, even from short
distances. He decided to try again tomorrow, and even then, his accuracy still suffered. He shot
another bullet, but he sneezed when he shot, causing him to close his eyes as he pulled the trigger.
To his surprise, he hit a perfect bullseye. He closed his eyes as he shot again, and he once again hit it
perfectly. He tried it a few more times, hitting more bullseyes. He called his friend over, and his friend
was also able to hit perfect bullseyes while not looking through the scope. He then posted
“Landing No-scopes With My New Precision Rifle!!” He had the idea of firing the gun in the opposite
direction of the target. The shot hit the target once again, prompting him to contact the manufacturer.
They visited his house, where he repeated this stunt. This event was put on the state news,
which the SCP foundation noticed and launched an investigation. The gun was traced back
to a factory near El Paso, Texas. SCP agents disguised as US Department of Defense officials
confiscated his firearm for study and gave him a non-anomalous replacement. The rifle was shipped to
site 19, where it was proven to be anomalous. It resides there to this day.123
