Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 through 7 are to be contained within separate Safe-class containment lockers at Site-██. Testing of any part of SCP-XXXX may only be performed by D-class personnel, and only under the constant supervision of at least two(2) security personnel equipped with both conventional firearms and attack-grade fire hoses capable of producing a constant stream of water with a minimum water pressure of 250 psi. No D-class personnel who have previously performed tests with any part of SCP-XXXX is permitted to participate in any subsequent tests regarding SCP-XXXX. Any D-class personnel involved in tests of SCP-XXXX are subject to immediate psychological evaluation, along with subsequent evaluations once a week, ending at the discretion of the attending psychologist after a minimum of 4 consecutive weeks. If compulsion to use, obtain or otherwise operate SCP-XXXX is found, Class A amnestics should be administered immediately and the subject will be subject to daily psychological evaluations until such a time as the compulsion is completely absent. As of Incident XXXX-Alpha, no further testing of SCP-XXXX is permitted in any capacity.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the collective designation for seven(7) items, individually labeled SCP-XXXX-1 through SCP-XXXX-7. SCP-XXXX-1 is a paintbrush of the flat variety, approximately 18cm long from the tip of its bristles to the end of its handle. The handle appears to be made out of bamboo and its bristles out of plant fibers, however making an exact analysis difficult as it has proven impossible to remove samples for testing.
SCP-XXXX-2 through SCP-XXXX-7 refer to the paint-like liquid contained in a set of 1.5-quart paint cans. These liquids are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet respectively (collectively referred to as SCP-XXXX-2-7 for brevity), and have a maximum volume of 1 quart. The containers appear to be made of aluminum, and can be dented with similar force as would be required for a can of similar composition, but prove to be completely resistant to any damage that would either: A) compromise the integrity of the structure sufficiently to allow the liquid inside to leak out, or B) sufficiently change the internal area of the container so it comprises less than 1 quart of internal space. Each can is labeled with the name of their respectively contained colors on the exterior in matching-colored capital letters.
When used with liquids other than those in SCP-XXXX-2-7, SCP-XXXX-1 acts as a completely non-anomalous paintbrush, with the only exception being that the paint used is objectively easier to clean than if used by a traditional paintbrush. When SCP-XXXX-2-7 is removed from their containers by anything other than SCP-XXXX-1, it is immediately transposed back into its original container.
When SCP-XXXX-1 is used to paint with SCP-XXXX-2-7, their anomalous properties manifest.
