Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard security environment, and fed on a daily basis. When entering the containment area, all interactions must be overseen by no fewer than 3 security personnel, due to the possibility of any violent behaviour. All research personnel must stay at least 3 metres away from the SCP at all times to avoid physical contact. Any and all medical research that requires physical contact must have written approval. SCP-XXXX is not to be let out of containment whatsoever, any personnel found attempting to free the anomaly from its containment will be terminated.

Description: SCP-XXXX appears to have visible humanoid structure, approximately 140cm (4 ft 6 in) tall, though no facial features have been identified due it being covered in an unidentified, viscous substance. The anomaly is very hostile, yet incapable of speech - this is shown in a later interview of SCP-XXXX - however, it is shown it has sapience due to its ability to identify objects, such as the difference between a research personnel and a security personnel. This has led to an act of hatred towards any security personnel in the SCP's vicinity.

Addendum XXXX-01: The substance SCP-XXXX is covered in is reported to have corrosive properties when it comes into contact with biological tissue. When the substance comes into contact with human skin, the subject (now considered SCP-XXXX-1) reports burning pain on the affected area. Furthermore, after 1 hour, the affected area on SCP-XXXX-1 will begin to disintegrate, exposing flesh and muscle. If a large amount of the substance affects the subject, any affected areas will disintegrate at a quicker time than before, approximately 20-50 minutes. This leads to several wounds on SCP-XXXX-1 and possibly blood loss, if the substance continues to damage the affected areas. However, any wounds on the subject has found to be easily to heal if all traces of SCP-XXXX has been reduced to a minimum.
