The couch must be contained in a 10x10x10 room at all times, with 4 meter thick steel walls. No more than 4 personnel must view it at a time, atleast 1 must sit on the couch at intervals of an hour. Personnel rotation must occur for SCP-5000 will become agitated if a single person sits on it for longer than an hour. They say the couch is sentient, for it projects images of other couches. After sitting on it for past 10 minutes, personnel state that they themselves, become one with the couch. Some driven mad by the thought of becoming one with Pete's Couch, they lose all functions of a human being as SCP-5000 starts absorbing personnel from the inside out, sending them these images. They cannot escape once beneath the cushions. No one knows what lies beneath them, whether it's a pocket dimension or just the under belly of a couch, but they do not return. SCP-5000 should be monitored at all times for its simple leather exterior shells something far greater, beyond our understanding. Below are observations and tests done by the foundations scientists, and D-class personnel.

D-Class personnel - "Man I just want to sit down!".
Scientist - "Well… inside this room is a couch, you will sit down and report what happens."
D-Class personnel - *enters the room, stares at the couch.* "This looks like any ordinary couch to me."
Scientist - "Go ahead, take a seat. "How do you feel?"
D-Class personnel - "I feel…. so relaxed, I'm to relaxed I cant move!. *D-Class personnel starts to get anxious, nervous, as SCP-5000 becomes aware he is sitting on it.
30 minutes have passed
Scientist - "You may go ahead and get up now."
D-Class personnel - No! Dont take me! STOP IT!
*D-Class personnel voice ceases.*
Upon further investigation, no remains of any kind were extracted from the D-Class personnel. But the scientist claims to have heard a voice coming from the room, it spoke to him but said only 1 sentence….

On……
Me……"
