Item #: SCP-6000
Object Class: Euclid Keter
Special Containemt Procedures: The SCP is to be patrolled daily by 3 battleships under the guise of the Royal Navy to discourage SCP-6000 from entering a hostile state if it surfaces. If SCP-6000 surfaces, all vessels must overshadow it until it submerges. If SCP-6000 enters a hostile state, all vessels have permission to engage in combat or reason with it to not enter a hostile state. If any German (cargo or otherwise) vessel is to sail into ■■■■ km into the North Sea, they must be discouraged from sailing further. If not, they must be either towed back to port or sunk.
Description: SCP-6000 is the Royal Navy Admiral-class battlecruiser Hood, although augmented with some technology of unknown origin. Due to extensive damage from several naval battles and oxidation, most of it is covered in rust and usually remains submerged in the North Sea. If a cargo ship (excluding ones of German origin) is within 2000 nautical miles of SCP-6000 (acting as if it was surfaced), SCP-6000 will surface and overshadow it or "protecting/escorting" it as
SCP-6000 calls it. SCP-6000 has also been shown to have intelligent conversation with it's escortees, via it's augmentations and addresses itself as HMS Hood. The augmentations include:
1. 4 fast-spinning modules that are what appears to be cameras mounted on SCP-6000's citadel.
2. A 48x48x48 cuboid device on the starboard side of the deck that emits radio waves, presumably for communication.
3. A screen mounted near the steering wheel of the ship, displaying a diagram of SCP-6000, it's augmentations, a radar map of the surrounding area SCP-6000 is in, and a speaker.
If none are nearby within 2000 nautical miles, SCP-6000 will either remain submerged or sail towards any seafaring vessel of German origin within 2000 nautical miles and enter into a hostile state until the vessel is sunk. If it is in a hostile state, SCP-6000 will fire SCP-6000-1 out of it's main and secondary guns. SCP-6000 will also enter a hostile state if provoked.
SCP-6000-1 is an infinite round of battlecruiser gun shells that look like normal main gun battlecruiser shells, but when loaded into any of SCP-6000's guns, it will change into the gun's minimum required calibre, and if it is fired, anything that comes into contact with it, corrodes until it disentegrates. This also applies to organic beings, in the form of gangrene which crawls into the brain over the span of 1-2 minutes, and stop it's function.
Adendum-6000-02: ■■-■■-■■■■
While C-class Foundation naval personnel were patrolling SCP-6000 while it was overshadowing a cargo ship, SCP-■■■■ surfaces from the waters. SCP-■■■■ starts provoking the C-class naval personnel and SCP-6000. The naval personnel tries to stop the incident, but SCP-6000 immediately fired at SCP-■■■■. A conversation with SCP-6000 during the incident has been transcripted is as follows:
SCP-6000: Come on lads! Let's beat this bastard once and for all!
SCP-6000 starts emitting a low growling sound.
Cpt. ■■■■: Wait, you've met SCP-■■■■ before? Can you tell me what it was like?
SCP-6000: Why yes, that twat has been battling with me more times than I can count! Been strangling me with those tentacles, [REDACTED], and ear-piercing screeching!
Cpt. ■■■■: Any weak points or weaknesses from any of your encounters?
SCP-6000: [DATA EXPUNGED]
The growl being emitted gets louder. SCP-6000 charges at SCP-■■■■, firing all of it's guns.
The incident has been concluded with SCP-6000 and SCP-■■■■ submerging back into the ocean due to extensive damage and the Foundation personnel reporting to their superiors.
