Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 20x20 meter tungsten-covered steel chamber. Sprinklers are to be regularly reinstalled inside the containment area. Personnel entering the chamber must wear protective equipment that can withstand high temperatures. In case of a containment breach, specialized personnel are to remove any flammable objects nearby SCP-XXXX.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an orange spherical object that emits flames. At first, SCP-XXXX remains dormant and not manifest its anomalous effects. Once any object is present within fifteen (15) meters of SCP-XXXX, the object will begin increasing temperature based on the current temperature of SCP-XXXX¹. Once object is ignited, flames emitted from burning of the object is attracted to SCP-XXXX, causing it to increase temperature. This process is continued until there are no more flammable objects in the range of SCP-XXXX, and return to its dormant state.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 20x20 meter tungsten-plated containment chamber. Emergency systems are to be regulated constantly to prevent a breach. If SCP-XXXX is to undergo testing, interaction with it must be done outside the range of its anomalous range. Personnel are forbidden from entering the containment chamber. In the case of a containment breach, personnel are to remove any flammable objects nearby the range of SCP-XXXX.

Description: SCP-XXXX is small spherical object which will passively levitate; the mechanism of it is unknown. At first, SCP-XXXX remains dormant and will not manisfest its main anomalous effect. However, once any object is present within fifteen (15) meters of SCP-XXXX, anything inside of the range will begin increasing temperature correlated to the current temperature of SCP-XXXX². If object is ignited, flames emitted from burning of the object attract to SCP-XXXX, which causes SCP-XXXX to increase its temperature. This process is continued until there are no more objects able to be ignited in the range of SCP-XXXX, and return to its dormant state.

The temperature of SCP-XXXX is unable to be decreased by any known means, making it likely that SCP-XXXX is an anomalous energy source. The temperature increase when activated does not only heat the object presented, but anything inside said range. This causes materials normally unable to be ignited to be melted, such as concrete, sand and soil; the cause of this may be due to the temperature increase of the material not obeying standard laws of physics.
