Description: SCP-XXXX is a 5 inch wide red-colored button with the text "BOOM" written in bold white font across the top face, contained in a gray colored base. On the underside of the base, there is a sticker with a barcode and logo for the American supplies retailer "Office Depot".

The button is separate from the base, and can be pressed. SCP-XXXX does not have any internal wiring, and it is unknown how it operates.
When SCP-XXXX is pressed, SCP-XXXX will play a sound of a male voice saying "Boom" in Text-To-Speech, and then the universe, observable and unobservable, will be destroyed completely and immediately.

SCP-XXXX was brought into site ██ by Dr. ██████¹ on 6/12/██, who was noted to have been in extreme distress. Dr. ██████ brought SCP-XXXX to 05-██ and requested immediate containment.

Dr. ██████: It's… It's a button, and when it's pressed, um… when it's pressed, the universe will be put into an immediate heat death.

████████: Dr. ██████ that is quite a bold claim for someone with no evidence of their findings. How do you suppose we are to believe the properties of your object?

Dr. ██████: It's not like I can test it, but when I grabbed the entity I had visions of destruction and the events this object would carry out. I couldn't let it get into the wrong hands.

████████: A vision? Are you meaning a hallucination?

Dr. ██████: No no no. I mean this object cast such imagery into me. This was not fake. We have to contain this. Just me holding this here is call for disaster.

████████: I see. We shall assume your statements are genuine. Leave the object on the desk and remember to scan your card on your way out. We will submit this for SCP classification immediately.
