Per the greenlighting policy, first-time authors must get concepts reviewed in the Ideas Critique Forum or IRC chatrooms before creating a feedback thread in the Drafts and Critique forum. Draft critique can still be sought via IRC and PM without greenlights.

When you have a draft that you know for sure the audience will like, bring it to Drafts Critique Forum. Please note that the forums move much slower than the chat, and the draft forum moves slower than the ideas forum!

The mainsite-run IRC chatrooms are the most reliable source of real-time critique discussion.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX Is to be contained in a standard issue safe containment lockable box (See Addendum SCP-XXXX-A) Access is to be restricted to a minimum level 3 clearance due to the potential danger SCP-XXXX posses.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a ring of what appears to be wood covered in an unknown clear lacquer. Material testing is still ongoing.
SCP-XXXX anomalous properties will only manifest when worn by a living humanoid on the right index finger or similar appendage if that finger is unapparent or missing. SCP-XXXX will then resize to fit its current wearer hereafter referred to as SCP-XXXX-1. Any beliefs SCP-XXXX-1 has before and while wearing SCP-XXXX are made absolutely true.
