Description: SCP-xxxx is an anomalous human male. The object has expressed a desire to be referred to as Grant Ether. Upon any contact with SCP-xxxx’s skin, the object will transform into gold. This includes clothing; and its jumpsuit is gold as well. The gold has shown to be 24 karats, making it one of the purest forms of gold to exist.
Organic matter is also subject to this transformation, and as such should be kept away from SCP-xxxx to avoid casualties.
SCP-xxxx tends to be cooperative with the members of the Foundation, and seems to understand the implications of its abilities. When asked about its feelings, SCP-xxxx replied that it felt “terribly bored.”

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a small humanoid containment cell modified so that all windows and lights have metal grates over them to prevent them from being transformed. All transformation facilitated by the Foundation must take place through a slot in the wall which allows objects to be transferred in boxes. No personnel are permitted to use SCP-XXXX to transform any objects into gold, for personal or research purposes, without express written permission from a staff member with level 3 clearance.

Incident Report: A nurse’s assistant, [idk] was sent in to draw blood in an attempt to analyze SCP-XXXX’s genetic information. Grant had been informed and did not try to resist the procedure, but upon inserting the needle into his skin, it turned golden, as was expected, but the soft metal splintered off in his skin, causing SCP-xxxx to flail out instinctively from the pain, hitting [Nurse’s assistant], turning him into gold.

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is not to be contained in any way. Currently, SCP-xxxx is located directly outside of Area ██ on a pedestal and is to be monitored by a team of guards. While it is effectively impossible to physically conceal an object such as this, any personnel below Clearance Level 3 are to be told that SCP-XXXX is instead anomalous simply by virtue of its impossible shape.

Description:
SCP-xxxx is a piece of anomalous art. It is a 10x10x10x10 centimeter tesseract made out of an unidentifiable metal similar in appearance to steel. Engraved on the tesseract, Latin text reads, artem non esse continebat. (Art can never be contained.)
Upon putting SCP-xxxx in a container of any kind, which includes any building, SCP-xxxx will liquify and rapidly expand its volume until it has filled the container. The liquid form of SCP-xxxx is very acidic,¹ very hot,² and causes embrittlement of most materials. Through these effects, SCP-xxxx has the potential to melt nearly any material. Once the container the object is inside is destroyed, SCP-xxxx will shrink down back into the metal tesseract.

Experiment 1:

Senior Researcher Dr. Percival Wainwright performs a test using D-xxxxx to determine the limits of the object.

D-xxxxx was asked to hold SCP-xxxx in his hands. After doing so, nothing appeared to happen, meaning SCP-xxxx did not consider it being held as containment.

D-xxxxx was then asked to deliver SCP-xxxx to a large empty warehouse located near Area ██ to determine if the object had a maximum size. Upon entering the building, SCP-xxxx liquified in D-xxxxx’s hands, and promptly expanded until it had filled the warehouse, taking under 20 seconds to do so. The warehouse started to collapse, as the structural integrity was falling. Within 40 seconds, the entire structure had collapsed into rubble, and the D-Class was melted by the liquid.
Wainwright sent another D-class to the area to retrieve it, where it was completely intact, and its surface was not acidic.

Alright, I suppose we are pack rats, but again, its about preventing danger, not limiting expression or hiding things from the public just because we can.]
