As it is unknown whether SCP-XXXX is just a phenomenon or a being, no containment procedures are possible nor needed, since SCP-XXXX secures, or attempts to secure, itself.

Description:

SCP-XXXX is 'an automatic hacking system' however rumors are also theorised that SCP-XXXX is only a phenomenon that occurs when its 'face' is typed.

SCP-XXXX's 'face'¹ is a full stop, degrees symbol and a forward slash (.°/).

If SCP-XXXX-2 appears on any electronical surface or device, whether it be in a photo, offline site, or a video, all content will be deleted leaving only a white page with the words:

Writing on a paper, audio logs and ABAB rhyming poetry appears to cancel the effect. All other attempts e.g. rotating SCP-XXXX-2 seems to fail.

Addendum A: On extremely rare occasions, SCP-XXXX will overwrite the file and add more than its signature text.

Currently there has been a total of 4 such occasions after approximately ███ attempts to store SCP-XXXX-2 on a non-recording device. All such occasions have SCP-XXXX overwriting the page and adding ABAB rhyming text that fits the topic at all times.

It remains unknown how SCP-XXXX is aware of the Foundation, its actions and whether SCP-XXXX is really a conscious being.
