Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5102 is to be monitored on a regular basis and contained in an impermeable 700x700 glass cage. It will stay docile to all who approach it if in the right environment. No guards of any kind are required to monitor 5102 despite it possesing large and seemingly daunting appendages. As stated before, as long as it is contained in the right environment it will remain docile and harmless to anything it comes in contact with unless it is provoked.

Description: SCP-5102 is a sizeable animal found in the southern areas of the Henderson islands. It walks primarily with its hind and forelegs to lift its abnormally hunched body off the ground. Its stature is comparable to one of the gorilla, the difference being its extra pair of legs protruding out of the side of its back side. Its head is in the shape of an oval, splitting open to reveal an array of flesh and denticulations in the shape of small triangles. Towards the back of its forefront are two pairs of horns. They appear to do nothing from what we have perceived but the serrated ends of these horns shows implications of a a weapon, although they have never been used as such things. Vocals of the animal seem to come from holes in its vocal folds that make a jittering noise that seems to eradicate any developing life around it. Further research has been taken to find the original habitat of the creature, since it is evident that it has unique features not shown by any earthly mammal to date. Upon its containment on the ████, it appears to have been a part of a lesser alien race, from the █████ space field █████.

Addendum: A status report from eta-5 (after the containment of scp-5102) indicates signs of a similar entity to 5102 causing distress around a landlocked city located on a large island to the east of the Pacific ocean. The report claims a creature of larger proportions and darker complexions wandering around the forests that surrounded said city. An attempt to approach this creature was carried out by eta-5, but upon apprehension the creature had dissapeared along with the apparent destruction it should have caused.

SCP-5102 is unable to reproduce and is a unique entity in itself, and so the possibility of another one of its kind is slim. Sightings of the strange entity have not been reported ever since the encounter, and so the foundation believes that the entity was just a mere anomaly caused by another unknown phenomenon in the area.

Anomolies surrounding 5102: It appears that any attempt to expose SCP-5102 to any from of CCTV lighting has resulted in failure. Sketches of the entity have been made, but have all been eradicated upon disclosure. Signs of burning have been found on the remains of the sketches, even after the switch over to hydroxyapatite based paper, signs of burning have been evident. It seems specific elements is harmful to the creature, causing it to attack the source of the light. Exposure to neon light have caused it to jitter more rapidly, indicating that this sound is a form of a defense mechanism.
