Item #: SCP-5150
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Containment of SCP-5150 is a standard secure storage locker inside of Site 29. Since SCP-5150 is not in its active state unless being held, no further security measures are necessary. Requests for testing are to be given to Dr. Anable.
Description: SCP-5150 is a notebook with a cover that looks marbled in appearance. The notebook was found in an abandoned school in St. Louis, MO. SCP-5150 is only in its active state when being held by a person. When held, subjects are able to ask a question, open the notebook to any page, and find the answer to the question being asked. Tests have shown that language does not appear to matter, as answers have been documented in a variety of languages, including English, Cantonese, Russian, etc.
In every test performed, answers provided by SCP-5150 have been accurate, although some answers will not be verifiable for upwards of █████████ years. When given a question that results in a paradox, or any other space time anomaly, where the answer cannot be defined, pages will only be blank when SCP_5150 is opened.
