Opening statement: Exploratory Mission XXXX-I was planned for 3 June 200█, with an exploratory team of four (4) led by James Webster. The team was aware of their approaching assignment on 28 May 200█.

Mission Log, Captain Webster: Day -6
They told me today I was going to be leading Aiden, Jacob and Noah into a supposed "infinite" forest with weird thing's inside and living things.

Okay, weird is a normal thing here at the foundation but I'm not sure which type of weird they were talking about.

Oh, I am supposed to call the Aiden, Jacob, and Noah Agent Glyptic, Trident and Heimdall but who fucking checks these logs anyway.

Mission Log, Captain Webster: Day -1
They gave us the rest of our gear to get us ready for tomorrow. The plan is to be there at midnight, fucking midnight, they can't do it sooner than that jeez.

The labs manufactured this liquid paste, they call it Enzyme 13, that we have to apply if we get hurt or injured by those thing's inside, not quite sure what they resemble yet.

Mission Log, Captain Webster: Day 0
So we entered and it was certainly weird entering a cabinet and on the inside it's completely different, it was even a bit colder than the other room we were at.

It was so huge, the trees were so hard and cold to the touch but we had to stay put on the mission, take a sample of the dirt, a tree, and anything we can find.

At least we had a red rope to recognize where we went and also we had the radio transmission we could use to find our way back.

Mission Log, Captain Webster: Day 1
Aiden and Noah did not stop singing this stupid song and I was annoyed all day by them.

The MRE's were a lot better than I expected probably because I didn't eat for 2 days because I was always doing something.

Mission Log, Captain Webster: Day 2
I saw those things I think they were talking about, they are so tall and they h-have no face?

I guess that's a good thing.

They won't be able to see us.

Anyways better start gathering those samples before the weekend, I don't want this to take longer than the original 7 days.

Mission Log, Captain Webster: Day 4
We woke up with Jacob missing, we followed the footsteps and tried to contact him but nothing happened.

I contacted the radio station that Jacob was missing but they told us to continue the fucking mission, I don't want to stay here and do nothing about Jacob goddammit.

Mission Log, Captain Webster: Day 5
I got a signal from Jacob!

He is telling us that we should go back without him, I won't leave without one of my teammates, I tell him where he is at and he answers back with some type of cave left from the last time we saw each other.

We found the cave with Jacob and we used the Enzyme 13 on Jacob and he was feeling a bit better but we think the infection's got him. It was a trap all along, there was another SCP-XXXX-1 they almost got us but we had to leave Jacob, we saw him get devoured by SCP-XXXX-1.

We became depressed after that event.

We reached the radio station again and told them what happened, told us to come back.

Mission Log, Captain Webster: Day 6
We are coming back as we saw the red rope cut and we were starting to panic a little, they sent a rescue team to try to find us.

Mission Log, Captain Webster: Day 10
We have almost no supplies left, we are trying to get back with how strong the radio transmission gets. I should have listened to Jacob.

Concluding Statement: On 15 June 200█, Mission Captain James Webster and Agents Glyptic, and Heimdall managed to contact the rescue team via Radio. Although they were suffering from starvation and in a deteriorated mental state, the team fully recovered within two weeks. Captain James Webster declined to write a post-mission summary.
