Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-4190 is to be contained in a 60cm x 60cm container made of steel. No testing is to be made of SCP-4190 without approval be 2 or more people of Security Clearance of 3 or higher. The testing chamber must be at least 50m x 50m. If there are any reports of irregular aging withen a 50 kilometer radius during a test of SCP-4190, all testing will terminate immediately.

Description:
SCP-4190 is a small combination lock of the brand "Master." It was recovered from a school that had just [DATA REPUNGED]. The lock seems to be almost destroyed. Once its anomalous properties were discovered it was moved to Site-¦¦. When the correct combination is put into SCP-4190, anyone, or object in a 40m radius begins to start aging very rapidly.

The tissues of there bodies start to break down, cell mitosis decreases rapidly. The heart starts beating slower until death. After that, the bodies start to decompose into mounds of dirt with a high density of putrescence. (All ideas for a product have been rejected my The Ethics Committee) This rapid aging usually takes 1 to 2 minutes and is assumed to be random.

These peoples conscious shifts to a dimension known as SCP-4190-1, this dimension is of unknown size and description, See Experiment Log 4190-Y. In this pocket dimension, they live a full life in some sort of a place slimier to SCP-432. Further exploration is ongoing.

Addendum:
It appears that there is some sort of entity that is causing fear and severing of communication with D-class subjects in Experiment Logs, Y, Z. This entity will furthermore be known as SCP-4190-2.

Experiment Log 4190-X:
Name: Dr. Holland with help from Mr. Meggelan
Date: 12/7/1989
Setup: 1 D-Class, Male, Double Homicide, Steel box with SCP-4190 placed on table in the middle of the chamber.

Description: D-class is told to enter the testing chamber and close the door, D-class does as told, he is told to walk toward the table, he does, as he does he says "Wow… It's a bloody mile away." Once he arrives, he is told to open the box and take out the contents, he does. He takes out SCP-4190 and expresses confusion. He is told to enter [DATA REPUNGED] into the combination. As soon as he completes the last turn, the effects of SCP-4190 take hold. It takes exactly 1:32 for him to completely decompose. All communication with D-Class in severed.

Notes: It seems that the time of decomposition is random. (No further tests are recorded untill 1/7/2004)

Experiment Log 4190-Y:
Name: Dr. Meggelan with help from Dr. Undercastle
Date: 1/7/2004
Setup: 1 D-class, male, Murder and Rape, Steel box with SCP-4190 placed on table in the middle of the chamber.

Description: D-class is told to enter the testing chamber and close the door, D-class does as told, he is told to walk toward the table, he does, Once he arrives he is told to open the box and take out the contents, he does. He is told to enter, 12, 4, 18 Nothing happens. (This is the wrong combination) He is then told to "try" the correct combination, the effects of SCP-4190 set in, but communication is not severed. Dr. Undercastle suggests that this is because of more advanced communication system, Dr. Meggelan agrees. The D-class exclaims extreme agitation. He is told to describe his surroundings, he says "Im in… uhh… a hallway." He is told to walk down one hallway, he refuses. He runs, and appears to be startled by something, he breaks the communication device attached to him.

Experiment Log 4190-Z:
Name: Dr. Maggelan with help from Dr. Holland
Date: 3/8/2004
Setup: D-class, female, Substance Abuse, Steel box with SCP-4190 placed on table in the middle of the chamber. Uranium 235 placed next to SCP-4190. (Uranium Half-life = 4.5 billion years, daughter element, Lead 207).

Description:
D-class is told to enter the testing chamber and close the door, D-class does as told, she is told to walk toward the table, she does, Once she arrives she is told to open the box and take out the contents, she does. She is told to enter the combination, she does. The Uranium instantly starts the Radioactive decay process and lead is created. The Subject is terminated in the same way as the others. She is also transported the dimension. She is told to explore her surroundings. She starts walking in direction of an offshoot of the hallway. As soon as she reaches it, she runs, and communication is severed.

Notes: The aging process seems to effect the specific object in the chamber, destroying them at an exponential rate. I wonder why they keep running and severing communication. Possibly some sort of "Entity" in SCP-4190-1. (No further test are recorded)
