This is a log of all experiments done on SCP-XXXX, courtesy of Dr. Mayers.
Experiment XXXX-1
Name: Dr. Carmen with Dr. Mayers supervising.
Date: ██/██/██04
Procedure: D-class subject is to be introduced to SCP-XXXX and told to examine the contents of it, D-class subject will then be asked if they feel anything when in the presence of SCP-XXXX. D-class subject will remain uniformed of SCP-XXXX's properties for the duration of the experiment.
Results: Subject D-43215 is introduced into SCP-XXXX's containment area and told to examine the contents of SCP-XXXX (Subject is unaware of SCP-XXXX's nature). D-43215 does as directed and approaches SCP-XXXX. D-43215 appears worried as he opens SCP-XXXX. After exclaiming to Dr. Carmen that the contents are just standard medical supplies, D-43215 abruptly screams then proceeds to sever his left forearm with a pair of rusty medical scissors retrieved from SCP-XXXX. D-43215 pleads with Dr. Carmen to join D-43215 in SCP-XXXX's containment area. At this point Dr. Carmen is infected by SCP-XXXX and enters SCP-XXXX's containment area and makes his way towards SCP-XXXX, pushing D-43215 out of the way. A breach of containment is radioed in and attempts to retrieve Dr. Carmen result in ██ additional casualties. Experiment Aborted.
Notes: As much a tragedy that was, we did learn a little extra about SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX is, in essence, a highly infectious memetic hazard; one that can be resisted with effort once infected but incredibly difficult to resist none the less. It was a miracle that I survived that debacle and I am hereby submitting a formal request to increase SCP-XXXX's security requirements as well as an increase in clearance restrictions as to prevent this incident from repeating. -Dr. Mayers
