SCP-049-E, "THE PENNY THIEF"
OBJECT CLASS: EUCLID
SPECIAL CONTAINMENT PROCEDURES:
SCP-049-E is to be held in a 30x30ft full titanium room, of which also resembles a medieval-style living room. If SCP-049-E is to break free from containment, it is to take a pile of coins, mainly copper consisting ones, such as pennies to lure it back into containment.
DESCRIPTION:
SCP-049-E is a humanoid object, with a black robe and hoodie. 049-E has a resemblance to it's predecessor SCP-049, only difference being a satchel with a strap going around it's neck. SCP-049-E's aggressive stance is triggered via a 300-meter proximity of anything of value; currency, jewelry, expensive material, and more. When approaching the item it proceeds with bending down and picking it up, putting it in the satchel. It is not known where the valuable items end up, but 049-E seems to have an infinite inventory for them, due to the satchel being far smaller than known holding capacity which has been exceeded.
Any Class-D that comes in contact with SCP-049-E immediately becomes disturbed, and irritated, and when physical contact occurs, it results in immediate paralysis. Temporal paralysis varies on the value of the item, and sometimes even items with diamond in them result in the subject going into a coma, soon dying later due to multiple organ failure. Retrieved instances of SCP-049-E, such as the items it takes, and does rejects, shows signs of mass corrosion, no matter the material. The first appearance of SCP-049-E was in [REDACTED], somewhere around Eastern Europe. The subject was found wandering through a small mining down, paralyzing six civilians, of which were also killed, due to permanent paralysis.
It was lured to the nearest facility via following Task Force Team [REDACTED] non violently, due to one of the men having a diamond wedding ring on, and it was brought into the containment room, which would soon be decorated into the medieval look by men without anything of value on them, appealing to it's request after interrogation with Doctor [REDACTED].
There is no plans of testing of SCP-049-E, except for the fact the 300-meter range of the containment cell has warnings to temporarily remove anything of value, of which signs approved by the O5 Council. There is no reason to terminate the SCP, due to the fact any instance of breach and paralysis of staff would make them faulty, either disobeying or ignoring the signs.
