Day 0
Mission Log, Agent ████ Today I was authorized to explore the disappearances off a beach near in Florida.
Day 1
Mission Log, Agent ████ I have arrived at the site, I have brought food that will last me a week, a gun with enough ammo to kill 30 bears, a tranquilizer, a tent, and a giant net.
I had heard rumors that this thing was giant, and that it's being eating people for years now. Apparently the next day their body washes up on shore..
Day 2
Mission Log, Agent ████ Nothing has appeared yet, I will continue searching. The civilians said that this is the right beach, but.. they seemed hesitate to tell me. I'm going to set up camp near the beach.
Day 3
Mission Log, Agent ████ Someone was dragged in while I was sleeping, their body washed up on shore.. I think I saw something in the water, but.. it looked like a squid. Why would it be here..?
Day 4
Mission Log, Agent ████ I couldn't sleep.. I kept watching the water, I've been studying it, whatever "it" is. It may just be a squid, but.. I saw holes in the victim's stomatch. Almost like it was drilled inside of them.
That squid I saw.. it had a tongue, it was so long. I estimate 7 meters? I've decided to buy a scuba diving suit and an air supply. Maybe I should go to sleep, I'm probably just hallucinating.
Day 5
Mission Log, Agent ████ I saw it again, I've mustered up the courage to go into the water with it to study it. I'm hoping I can create a plan to capture it..
Day 6
Mission Log, Agent ████ It doesn't have eyes, how the fuck did it see me? It stabbed me in the arm, I nearly died.. It dislocated my shoulder. I have a plan though, it seems that it just senses movements and changes in the water,
I think I can lure it in with a dummy. It may think it's a human.. Then I'll shoot it with a tranq.
Day 7
Mission Log, Agent ████ Fuck, I'm out of food, and money. I'm going to try to go hunting, after that, I'm going to capture it.
Day 8
Mission Log, Agent ████ It didn't work.. I lit that thing up with tranqs and live ammo. It didn't even scratch it. I'm down to my last resort, I'm starving, I didn't find anything to eat.. I'm going to die..
Day 9
Mission Log, Agent ████ The oldest trick in the book. A creature that strong fell for it. I dug a hole with a shovel I stole from a graveyard and put a net over it. I covered it with leaves and boom. A terrible trap, I know, but it still fell for it. I shot it a bunch and then ran off to the hole, apparently the thing can walk on land. I called for backup and we took it back to the base with a lot of helicopters. I hope.. I never see that thing again.
